At first glance the entire dealership seemed very trustworthy and I decided to buy my car from them seeing that there are 120+ inspection and a warranty with all vehicles they sell. Everyone who assisted me was helpful and friendly. When returning my car for a fault on the aircon, brought to the attention of the dealership about two or three weeks after receiving the car. Also, the steering wheel control buttons weren't working. When asking for the warranty papers I signed, it could not be provided to me because "we work on company time and not a customer's time". I asked for the 120+ point inspection list. To my surprise it was marked that my steering wheel controls was working, when in actual fact it did not. When asking why it's marked that it was working when it wasn't, the After Sales Manager said that the plug at the back of the controls fell out. But, what doesn't make any sense is that I've been driving this car for about 4 months now and the plug has never fallen out again??? The After Sales Manager did inform me that the car bought is a 2012 model, and I understand that everything has a certain lifespan to work before it breaks. But when I collected the car I was told that everything passed with the 120+ inspection list. Which I do not agree with, seeing that there were fault that were "checked". Long story short, the After Sales Manager told me that he "will not pay for something a customer breaks" and I do agree with him, but what upsets me is that I did not break the part of the aircon as they claim. I informed the sales associate who assisted me about the aircon and he informed me that he will inform the workshop. The After Sales Manager told me multiple times that I can go to the Ombudsman, almost as if, because of my young age, I can be easily intimidated. I informed him that I will go to the Ombudsman. The meeting ended with the manager asking someone to go get my car keys because "we are here on company time and not customer time" even though they asked me to come in to the dealership and I informed them I will only be there shortly before 6pm. During the entire meeting words like "cut the bull****" and "stop talking ****" was thrown around by the manager. When I lost my composure at the manager after him coming at me the entire time, I told him "F You". Which the manager rep**** to "On your Mother" , once again trying to provoke me to act to his words. Then he threatened me by saying that "someone needs to get this guy out of here, if he swears at me again I will plant it - referring to his fist- in his face". I sincerely hope that he learns how to treat people and how to talk to them. Utterly poor management, especially considering it's head office. This morning, I once again asked for the Warranty Form where I signed. Until now, I haven't received anything. Excuses given is that the admin personnel are looking for my documentation in the store room. I was phoned by one of the personnel as well this morning. The first thing they said was: "I want to apologize for the entire thing yesterday and the way it ended." which, to me means that they already admitted guilt. I was a satisfied customer and actually recommended AUTO24 to almost everyone I know, but due to this outcome of everything, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. I asked for my contracts to be cancelled before the cutoff dates. To my surprise only one line was cancelled and the other is scheduled for the end of the next month. I specifically asked the agent who assisted me, Chane Jacobs, to cancel my lines because I want to close my contract with Telkom as soon as possible as I am moving to Australia and need settlement letters to say that my debt is paid off. Now I need to wait for a month before I can go, because of some agent who did not do her job. I would never recommend Telkom to anyone. Terrible service and terrible communication.
Terrible quality in couches and recliners! I have had the couches for 6 and a half months and they have already broken. Since it is still under warranty, I want the couches to be replaced, but it is such a hassle to do so. There has been ongoing mails between me and them, but no resolution... I would not advise anyone to buy these couches as they are terrible quality. Also, the supplier will not replace them even though they are still under warranty.
Very Poor customer service. It was such a hassle to get the credit application done on their side. The salesperson said he will send it through the exact same day, but only sent it the following day! I phoned the stores manager, who did not really want to help me at all. When I got upset and told her that I want to cancel everything and was not happy, she asked me "Is that how you speak to people?" Fist of all, I am an unhappy customer. You should try and help me, not have an attitude towards customers. Second of all, IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS? The sales person that was assisting me did not look very motivated to help me. I needed to phone them and find out what is going on. Lastly the store manager called me a liar in front of all the staff and store. Is that really how you should treat your customer?
