No response to emails, even when given a case number, and worse, Actionline, who was a last resort and did give results, has similarly failed to respond to a simple request.
My sincere thanks to Optometrist Phillip de Wet and his staff for their consistent superb and friendly service. They have set a benchmark for excellence which all businesses should emulate.
The Accounts Department at Ampath is almost beyond belief in terms of ineptitude and inefficiency. They quadrupled an invoice & submitted to my medical aid . The invoice was over R7000.00. The medical aid paid this to Ampath in good faith. It took several weeks for Ampath to refund the medical aid, and they consistently denied it was their error. During that time, and following 3 visits to the Ampath branch and numerous emails, my day to day benefits were severely compromised due to the deduction of the R7K. A belated apology was finally received, as I was determined that their accusation that my medical aid was at fault would not go unchallenged.
Bruce and his Tech Team did amazing work on my Dl650 V-Strom . The rear cylinder was dead and they spent many hours tracking down the problem, but only charged me a fraction of the time they spent on locating the fault. Much appreciated Bruce! Bike is going superbly.
Melani van Niekerk (Insurance Administrator) is a credit to her ANGOR. She is courteous, efficient and delivers. Well deserving of a 5 star rating and a pleasure to have her able assistance.
I have yet to receive an answer to a query emailed to Profmed om 18 Oct 22. When I send a reminder, an automated email says that it will be addressed in 2 working days.
Dr Joseph and his marvelous team are the crest of excellence. Even for an ordinary check-up, one is given the same attention as that for an operation. It is fully understandable that medical consultations appointment times can invariably be delayed. However, Dr Josephs team has managed to synchronize perfectly and there is no waiting. This is unusual in the medical realm, and is indicative of a thoroughly well run practice.
It is once again my happy opportunity to express my gratitude to Dr Dylan Joseph and his outstanding team in Knysna not only for the successful procedure on my eye but for the stress-less and seamless sequence that accompanied the operation. No one looks forward to surgery, particularly when it involves eyes, but from start to finish I was thoroughly informed of what to expect, and my experience could not have been more pleasant. “Own your vision” is the motto of this wonderful organization, and it projects beyond actual sight. My own physical vision improved, and my view of my fellow humans has been enhanced by the respect and care I received from this amazing team. Another surprise was a bottle of wine and chocolates which was presented to me at the conclusion of the post-op consultation. The tradition of appreciation was reversed. It should have been myself presenting a gift of wine and chocolates, but this unique team gave them to me! Thanks Dr Joseph, you are transforming people’s eyesight and the approach to the aspect of medical business to the public.
