I purchased a pair of jeans from this store, but unfortunately they were too small. While trying them on, the price tag accidentally fell off; I placed it in the bag immediately. Four days later, I returned to the store to exchange the item. The cashier informed me that because the tag was no longer attached, the jeans could not be exchanged. I explained that the tag fell off while fitting the item, but she stated it was a “new rule.” When I asked why this rule was not explained at the time of purchase, she dismissively rep**** that people wear items and return them, then walked away. This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Poor customer service and unclear policies like this are unacceptable. Based on this experience, JUMBO Graaff Reinet has been the worst store I’ve dealt with.
I had a terrible experience catching my bus at 6:00 PM at Big Bird in Midrand. I arrived at 5:20 PM and went into the office to inquire about my bus. The gentleman there told me I was in the right place and to just wait, which I did. When the bus arrived, I asked if it was going to Graaff-Reinet, and I was told that no other buses were coming. We were instructed to ask the bus drivers ourselves where they were headed because no one seemed to assist us. Eventually, just after 6:00 PM, I went back inside to ask when my bus would come. The gentleman informed me that the bus had left just five minutes ago and that I was supposed to check in. I told him that he never mentioned checking in; he only said to wait outside, which I did. After some argument, he arranged for another bus to take us to Park Station. When I boarded with my four-year-old child, I found that everyone was sitting down, with only one seat open. I asked the bus driver if he could request someone to move so that I could sit with my child. He responded by saying that I did not pay for two seats and imp**** that since I only paid for one, my child would have to sit elsewhere. I was confused since I had paid full fare for my child. The driver added that he didn’t want to fight with people on the bus about moving. Fortunately, I spoke to another passenger myself, and they agreed to move. The customer service was appalling, and the attitude of the staff made it seem as if I was traveling for free and they were doing me a favor by letting me get to my destination. Moreover, the driver played loud music throughout the entire 12-hour trip, not caring if people were trying to sleep, and drove very fast. Overall, it was the worst bus experience I've ever had!
This is litrally the worst bus ever, honestly no customer service, your bags don't get numbers it just gets thrown into the back of the bus. This bus came late and then stucked after driving for a hour help only came after 3hours, drove of again the bus stucked again we still waiting for help since 06:50, there is no communication from the staff. I wouldnt recommend this bus for anyone honestly.
