I was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident with this company vehicle. Upon exiting the vehicle, their driver immediately blamed me for the incident, despite there being minimal damage to his bumper, while my car sustained visible dents and scratches along both the driver and passenger doors. The driver admitted to me that he had nearly been involved in another similar incident just minutes earlier. I reported the accident within 24 hours, in accordance with the law. Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive the insurance details or a case number from the business owner. He kept promising to send the information "later that day" or "the next day," but it has since become a back-and-forth exchange via WhatsApp, with no progress. This raises concerns that the accident may not have been officially reported. On 15 May, I was informed that he was consulting with his lawyers and would get back to me. It is now 7 August, and the matter remains unresolved. Every attempt to follow up is met with dismissiveness, blame or delay, and I have been left to deal with the damage to my vehicle on my own. Given my experience, I cannot recommend this company, as I have received no support or accountability regarding this matter. Update – 26 August 2025 It now appears that the owner is attempting to convince themselves that they bear no responsibility, which is typical of a company trying to protect its reputation. The driver was speeding, hit my car, and the very first thing he said was “Who was at fault?”—implying that the blame was mine. He refused to provide any insurance details, only pointing to the vehicle for information, and no police claim number was shared. It is evident that Breeze Airconditioning is not taking accountability for their actions and is instead attempting to cover everything up.
Happy Island - Extremely Dangerous! Do NOT bring your family here! This was a terrifying experience. We spent R500 expecting a fun day but faced many issues: rides were closed despite assurances, and the wave pool wasn’t open until 13:00. The worst part was being falsely accused and threatened by a school principal who yelled, “I WILL HAVE YOUR FACE REARRANGED,” while calling us ******. We had to be escorted out for our safety. Daphne from HR management was biased and unprofessional. When I contacted Daphne (HR/Legal), she insulted me calling me "TRASH" and hung up. Avoid this place at all costs. Choose Wild Waters Boksburg or Sun City instead.
I bought a big tub of Vanish Oxi Action as I was told this will get rid of any stain on clothes, dischclothes, etc. This is NOT TRUE, in fact it ruined a brand new cotton pair of shorts I bought at Woolworths. The shorts got as little stain on and we immediately put it into warm water with the correct amount of water litres and soaked the shorts for a maximum of 30 minutes as per the instructions on the box. As soon as we took the dark green shorts out the water, a whole lot of yellow dots appeared on the shorts and RUINED them completely. I DO NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT, IT WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES REGARDLESS OF THER INSTRUCTIONS. We washed the shorts on their own, inside out and did not bleach anything. VANISH CONTAINS A BLEACHING AGENT SO BE CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU BUY, IF YOU DO. I SUGGEST DON'T BUY1
This place is extremely dangerous! Do NOT bring your family here. Consider this a serious warning! My daughter and I visited Happy Island for what we thought would be a fun day out, spending R500.00, a considerable amount of money these days. However, we were met with one disappointment after another. Despite calling ahead and being assured that everything was operational, many of the rides were not working. When we went to the wave pool around 10:30, we were told it wouldn’t be open until 13:00 and weren’t even allowed to enter it to cool off. The real nightmare began when we encountered an African woman in the HR office who falsely accused us of making a remark we did not make. Shockingly, this woman was a PRINCIPAL of one of the visiting schools that day. She repeatedly threatened us, saying, “I WILL HAVE YOUR FACE REARRANGED,” while aggressively pointing her finger in my face and accusing me of being ******. I genuinely feared for our safety and had to ask security to escort us out of the park. Thankfully, a kind and helpful African security guard assisted us, and I am forever grateful to him. The behavior of the HR and management was disappointing and biased. It was clear that they had no intention of handling the situation fairly. I now understand that it was a one-sided conversation. If I could give zero stars, I would. This experience was terrifying, especially in what is supposed to be a family-friendly environment. I urge you to avoid this place at all costs. For a safer and more enjoyable experience, consider visiting established locations like Wild Waters Boksburg or Sun City instead.
These attorneys are extremely rude especially a lady by the name of Elonese. She has put the phone down on me being the customer numerous times. I then contacted her line manager Rosa who said she would move my case to another agent but this is yet to happen after numerous complaints from my side, it has been months and nothing has happened. I said I would pay by the 1st of every month but I am forever being THREATENED by email and sms, they are even sending my daughter threatening messages. I would not use them as they are in need of PEOPLE SKILLS which they are lacking.
My daughter and I went to watch Venom last night at at Ster Kinekor Fourways Mall. While we were sitting in the movie before anything started three or four of the lights on the wall were flickering and were faulty. I don't pay that amount of money to sit through 15-20 minutes of trailers and have those lights doing that the whole time. I then went to complain to tell them to switch it off during the trailers but they said it would go off when the movie started. My eyes were straining and sore from this, not to mention that the 3D glasses were very uncomfortable, sharp on the nose, and dark when watching the movie as well Very UNHAPPY about this experience and will never go back to Ster Kinekor Fourways Mall.
My last experience at Gold Reef City was SHOCKING to say the least. I drove my kids there two weeks ago on Sunday to enjoy the theme park for the first time in 2 years only to find out that you had to book online. So driving from Northgate all the way to Gold reef took money and effort only to be told to book online so we tried and low and behold they were FULL. So I logged a complaint to Gold Reef City directly on to be let down with NOT even a response. A week later I tried to book ticket and managed to book but when we got there the queue was all the way to the parking lot and this was at 08h30 in the morning with NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. You would not even get on some rides as they queues were so full with yet again NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. The theme park seemed to be much more fuller now that we are on Level 1 that when there was NO COVID!!! Ridiculous. People were not even wearing masks because it was so hot waiting in the long queues for the rides. The Ananconda queue started outside of the tunnel with no social distancing, even longer than before. The theme park has put no protocols in place and it seems they are trying to make up for all the money they lost. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Hi there, as you will see from my complaint to Havaianas South Africa, no-one has even bothered to respond to me. I have sent the below email twice and even called their customer care department and they did not even want to assist me. I would really not suggest getting this type of shoe/flip flop because as soon as the guarantee is up they tend to break and then they don't pay you back. Below is my complaint to them and I am still waiting two weeks later with no reply, they haven't even read my email. I wouldn't even rate them one but there was no lower unfortunately. To whom it may concern I have contacted your customer service on 021 511 1182 today and they have said they cannot assist me as the 6 months guarantee on my shoes are up. I bought a pair of the below flip flops detailed below last year which for some reason broke by my big toe. This pair was replaced this year on 9 February and broke in exactly the same place. I cannot keep replacing a pair of flip flops every 7 – 8 months, is that your shelf life of these specific shoes. I have now had to buy another pair yesterday. Please advise if these flip flops only last 6 months and then break. Customers cannot keep replacing and spending money especially during these financial times. How do I go about resolving this issue. Havianna is supposed to be a good brand but with the experience I have had and the info I am receiving back from your customer service is NOT acceptable at all. I look forward to your response.
