Money being deducted from an app without my consent from my Credit Card and when trying to stop it, the bank is simply saying that I need to send proof that I cancelled properly. I even showed the bank proof that I contacted the app and according to them I am not on their databasis but this is apparently still not enough for them to help me stop the payments. I have been losing between R600 and R700 a month for the last 7 months and I cannot stop these payments and the bank is quite happy for these ******* transaction to come off my account. Going to force me to cancel all my accounts with FNB and go someplace else. This is after being a client of theirs for the past 40 years and paying for a personal banker. What a sham.
I dealt with Ishan Gopie in selling 2 properties for me in Johannesburg (Constantia Kloof) and could not be happier with his service. I live in Cape Town and he went the extra mile in getting my units sold. He kept the keys and opened up for handymen who had to fix stuff. He had numerous open days to get more people to view the properties. He contacted me regularly with updates. This is a slow market and times are hard, but where other agents maybe took someone to view the property about once every 3 weeks, he had quite a few people out there every single week. Thanks Ishan for making the selling process much more pleasant and stress free.
I have been a cusomer of FNB for about 40 years. I sold some of my properties overseas and here in SA and contacted the financial planning department to get advice on what to do with the money to get the best return. I logged a call and was told someone would get back to me in about 5 days. It is almost a month now and I am still waiting.
The trailer is awesome and we had a few good years of camping. Unfortunately as soon as things go wrong with the trailer it is impossible to have it fixed. We have not been camping for the last 2 years as the water tank is leaking and there is an electrical fault that keeps tripping the power. Been trying for 2 years to get an appointment with invader to take it in and have it sorted. We are now at a point were we are thinking of selling the invader at 30% of its value just to get it out of the garage and out of our lives. Even phoned the owner. Empty promises that he will get back to us but it never happens.
Bought a laptop for my daughter for varsity this year. Got home and saw that the touchpad was not working. Took it back and they sent it away to the suppliers to check. That was 3 weeks ago. I am still waiting, my daughter has left for varsity and still no laptop. Now they are talking about possibly a refund, but I cannot get a final answer out of them. Don't want to buy a new laptop and then they return the previous one. No idea what to do and when you phone Computer Mania, they simply say it is out of their hands, the problem lies with their suppliers. No accountability and no urgency. Feels like R8 000 was just wasted.
I am a customer of TCS and we have been battling to get proper download speed. Logged a ticket with them and it has been 2 weeks and it is still not resolved. I keep posting update request on the TCS customer portal and getting no response. When I phone them, I get promised that a technician will come out that same day. Been waiting for 4 days, he still has not shown up. Terrible service. Paying week by week was ideal as we only use it during the holidays, but no point in paying for internet when you can't even watch Netflix on the speed we are getting.
Bought some furniture from Mr Price Home through the online store. Delivery was supposed to happen 2-5 days after payment went through. When trying to follow up on delivery 5 days after purchase, no-one at Mr Price could tell me where the furniture was. Also phoned the courier company and they had no idea where the furniture was at that point. Customer care consultant gave me an e-mail address I could send my complaint to, but after sending the mail, I got a reply to say that the mailbox was full and mail could not be delivered. Got on the phone again and eventually my order arrived later that day. Problem was that the desk looked like it was a floor item that they hastily packed up and delivered. Had scratches all over the piece. I had a tenant coming in the following day so I had to take it, but was going to ask a swop of the item. Tried sending a mail to the returns department, but their mailbox is also full and mail cannot be delivered. Now trying to phone the returns department but gets cut off within 3 seconds of getting through with a message that the network is too busy. Have never experienced such bad service in my entire life.
