I have never experienced such poor service in my life. After three weeks of back-and-forth trying to move my tracking devices from one vehicle to another, Cartrack completely failed to deliver. The wrong information was sent, appointments were delayed, paperwork had to be redone, and their own departments couldn’t even communicate correctly. Even after the installation was finally done, someone still phoned to “schedule” it again! The only positive part was the installer who came today — professional, polite, and clearly capable — but completely let down by the chaos within Cartrack. This isn’t my first bad experience either. Previous installations were done incorrectly (even cameras installed upside down). It’s been one frustration after another. I’m seriously considering cancelling all my subscriptions and moving to a company that values customers and basic competence. Truly shocking service.

Claim number 24/125676 Geyser burst 24/02/2022 phoned Standardbank to log new claim, contractor send out to fix ceilings and replace geyser and move outside the house in process they need to lift my sink roof to get access, never properly seals the roof again. Claim Number 22/173187 Claim logged 04/08/22, while on holiday contractor phones me and request site visit after explaining i am not at home but my mother-in-law is he says that would be perfect. Monday 8 August 2022 contractor phones me says full assessment has been done and submitted to Standardbank for approval. 23 August 2022 contractor informs me that approval was given for work, on same day i request scope of work no roofing included i then raise concert but is assured by contractor it will be handled. 29 August 2022 contractors teams arrives at my premise to start work i then call contractor and explain to him we can not fix ceilings and not the roof as it will just get damaged again, he starts swearing and calling me a idiot and that i wasted his time, i then call Standardbank and explain the situation and their contractor swearing me, the consultant agrees with me and asks me not to let the contractor continue with work till roof is fixed. 3 weeks later with numerous calls and attempts to get a assessor from Standardbank to come to my property i have had no luck, rainy season is almost starting and i know what awaits me.
Been struggling for more than week explained to the installer that I run my business from home and need internet after the installation was done he informed me that I can cancel my Rain subscription and everything will be A ok !!! After calling several different contractors from metro fiber we found out that they installed the wrong box 3 days later and hours of phone calls, then a guy pitches up changes the box and assures me everything will be okay !! Geus what still nothing then phone metro fiber ask to troubleshoot they then tell me to phone Vodacom after holding for 37 min I then phone Vodacom the lady helped me and said they never closed the ticket help me to connect and then upgrades me to the 100 meg line 24 hours later my upload speed and download speed is shocking !!! I wish I never changed from Rain I have lost more than weeks business because of incompetent People in Metro Fiber !
