Well done. PnP Honeydew. On black Friday you guys were tops. Full of energy, so welcoming and helpful and organised and prepared. It was a pleasant and refreshing experience.
I paid an amount to Telkom. R2282.70. This was in error on 29 July 2022. The debit order goes through every month and still has been deducted. I have tried to get the money back from Telkom but my email on 2 Srpt has to date not been responded to. I have tried sms what's app, have been twice to the store at Cresta and again to a store at Clearwater Mall where I spoke to and got the email address of a man who promised to attend to the matter and claimed they could not find the payment. He asked me to send proof of payment and I did on 2 Sept. How do I get this money back????
The company is inept and of little help or value. I requested help and after a very general response sent at least 3 emails over a month to 5 weeks and got no response.. I sent a proof of res and certified ID assuming they would need it. I received a response to say the matter/account was being attended to and I requested the whole process be cancelled and any debit or or deduction on my account, not yet activated. A lady phoned and I again explained they can not reply to emails and will not be of any help or service to me and not to proceed with anything. She asked the date of the pending debit order, said there was time to cancel it and she would. I then sent another at least 3 emails to cancel any deduction from my account in June 2022. I have had no response or action. A lady phoned on 6 June and again told me she would cancel the debit order. She acted as if she was unaware this had been requested and was trying to engage me as a client.
Treated appallingly at Cresta Homemark by the "manager". Backhanded and argued. Obscure issue about a signature on the receipt and I must know what that means. I was expressly told when sold the item I could change it but as it was on promotion I could not get a refund. Extreme rudeness and arrogance and no helpfulness from the "manager". Please avoid. Always get real poor service and staff not knowledgeable about products at all. Do consumers have no rights at all????
Yet again I am getting nowhere. Nearly 2 months of emails and calls to request paid up letter/s and settlement amount to setle a debt and make payment. On the phone a few days on 2 and 3 Feb 2022 and maybe others after no response to emails. Each time I get to you are no 2 in the queue and the waiting time is 1 minute I get a message saying they can't answer and leave a name and number. I have left my name and number 2/3 times at east and no response. Why is it so hard to do the right thing, WHY would people supposedly collecting debts refuse to help someone trying to pay off those Debts? I am in this position because I went under debt review and paid the every month, but my creditors were not paid by them. Debts were handed over to MBD not because of me defaulting but I am living a nightmare and just want to pay my debts. Why am I tortured for this??? Must I just forget about these debts and paying them? I am unable to get help and beyond frustrated. On top of it MBD say my previous complaints om the same issues are not valid????? Please get your act together. All I want is a normal life and I am doing my utmost to PAY MY DEBTS. I am really wandering why I am trying so hard.
I am being debited each month by Action SA, but am unable to cancel the debit order or find any way to contact them. I have received no communication from the at all and no info about voting or reg for the recent municipal elections etc.
I get no response from emails, was constantly harassed about a payment made-R100 by the way. I was given a settlement amount on 9 Dec and promised I would get confirmation in writing and details of account no etc so I can settle the debt. I paid to the account I had previously used for the same debt as I received no email. Still have no acknowledgement of payment. Phoned and was told to talk to customer care. Payment was received and again I was promised on 11 and 14 Dec someone would contact me and assist if I emailed queries@mbd.co.za. Still no response or response to the email of 10 Dec 2021 I sent and no acknowledgement of payment, for me a large amount. Tel the amount was was confirmed as paid without me giving the amount. The person simply said there was a payment for the amount I paid when they checked. This is ridiculous to get no response like this. At present it seems you cannot go to the offices and not sure you can even make an appointment according to the websire. Can any one recommend someone to take them on legally? Would consumer council help?
Review is meant to be a one but that is too high. I have battled since 15 Nov to get a refund as I immediately cancelled my order in store after placing the order. Was told I could pay half the amount as a deposit and the full amount was deducted. I cancelled at once and am still waiting for a refund after numerous promises and excuses from Des a senior in ghe business. She has promised the payment is being processed and she will send the proof of payment. Still nothing and no response to any questions I ask eg when can I expect the refund. She also told me some finance dept had to assist, they certainly don't need to wait for any finance dept to get my payment or money or any customer's for that matter. I was also not told delivery would only be early Dec. Only after I had paid. I would like a full refund as promised and I have requested and donnot understand the delay and get no answers about the delay. I in fact should get some interest by now.
Anastacia Plaatjies was efficient and it was great to get speedy and regular and clear communication by email and sms and follow up phone calls. Unfortunately it takes a while to get money for a car rental but Anastachia was helpful and it has nothing to do with her or the great service she gave.
