I purchased a recliner set at the pop-up shop from Centurion Mall on 08/05/2023 Sales person Grace Faradja. We have a 5 year warrantee on the mechanisms. One of the recliners is now faulty, and upon trying to contact the store, the number does not work., and it seems they are not at the Mall anymore. We send numerous emails from 03/11/2025 to hello@reclineronline.co.za also, and they do not even bother to answer back. On 24/11/2025 I managed to call and get hold of the store in Silver Lakes. The name of the guy I spoke to was Patrick. He was very, very rude and unhelpful. According to him. they are not ad hearing to complaints or guarantee repairs now, as the company has got backlogs and will only ad hear to complains in January 2026. This is completely un acceptable and by far not good service.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced . I ordered couches on 13 January 2025. According to their website they give 21 working days turn around time. Fast forward 21 working days and no communication about the couches. On the 12th February I enquire about the couches only to be told it will be ready on 14th March 2025 do to manufacturing issues that affected multiple clients. The consultant Masesi keeps regurgitating sales talk about providing transparency and quality products everytime I try to get to the bottom on when they figured out the issue and advise them to expedite my order. They clearly aren't transparent as they are unable to tell me when they picked up the issue, apparently it was early but I was only notified after the Eta which has been extended for more than a further 21 working days. It makes no sense! You've taken my money and now your Manage Des isn't even replying to my emails. My order either needs yo be expedited or I want my money back. I sung your praises too soon based on your reviews, I will definitely be telling people not to buy from you. You take the money and provide excuses for delayed orders and have extremely poor communication .

I paid a 59% deposit on a recliner set in December.Too date they have not delivered my order.Their contact numbers are invalid.They do not respond to emails.This was at their pop up store at the Killarney mall in Johannesburg.They closed their business and evacuated the premises without leaving any notification for paid up customers

I purchased a genuine leather set with console in November 2024. I was promised the set will be ready before 20th December. It wasn't ready. The team kept ignoring my follow ups. The only response received was in February after a wrote a negative online review. The set was eventually delivered on 15 March but is incomplete. The console was excluded. I was promised by Marilyn that she will get back to me on this. It's a week later and she hasn't and she's ignoring my messages. I'm totally disgusted by the poor service. Buyers pls be aware and think carefully before doing business with this company.

Absolutely disgusting service. ordered 4 chairs and was told it would be delivered in 4 weeks - almost 4 months later we battled to get the stock - when it arrived one chair was not working - one chair had holes in - nothing had been checked at the factory before leaving there. phone lines are not working - no one replies to emails and they lie about stock levels. There is no customer service at all and no one seems to know what is going on at all. I would NEVER recommend them or use them again

Placed an order ( invoice payment of 50% deposit) in Dec 2024 at the Killarney pop up branch.Was promised delivery of item within 8 weeks.Its now mid March and I’m still waiting.The contact number on their letterhead is invalid.Stay away from this service provider

The consultant Masesi advises that she's within the ETA and it's only a few days late. Original Eta 12 February 2025 and new Eta 14 March 2025. How is thar a few days. Then she keeps repeating sales jargon about transparency and good quality products. I can't speak for the product because I still haven't received it. As for transparency , that's a complete lie, I'm still waiting for feedback on email about the delay and for them to expedite my order. I escalated to the manager Des, which is even worse. She doesn't even respond with acknowledgement. I have never experienced such poor customer service. You took R8.5k from me and I have no couches.
