Today marks a month since I returned the rental vehicle to Avis Sandton and I'm still yet to receive my refund. No feedback nor call to advise on the reason for the delay.

It has now been 24 days since I returned the vehicle, yet I have received no communication or update regarding the status of my deposit. What concerns me even more is that I had to proactively reach out to your team to obtain this information. There has been no courtesy extended to contact me, explain the delay, or provide any form of reassurance or clarity. This experience has been frustrating and has left me with a deeply negative impression of your service. I sincerely hope I will not have to engage with Avis again in the future. I urge you to resolve this matter promptly and provide a clear timeline for when I can expect the refund.
Dear AVIS Sandton, I am writing to express my disappointment with the manner in which my deposit refund has been handled following the return of my rental vehicle on 17 April 2025, as per the agreed terms. At the time of return, I was informed that the refund would be processed within 7 to 10 working days. However, as of today, 30 April 2025, I have not received the refund. Upon contacting your client service team, I was advised that the refund is still pending approval — a situation that is both unexpected and unacceptable, especially since I was not informed of any delays. It is concerning that I am now being told to wait an additional 10 days without any prior communication or justification. I respectfully request urgent clarification and resolution of this matter.
I have never experienced such a lack of transparency from a company as I have with Renew-it. I was assured that my vehicle would be ready by the 18th of April 2025; however, it is now the 25th, and I have yet to receive any communication. Despite my repeated attempts to obtain feedback—starting from 9 a.m. today through phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails—my inquiries have been consistently ignored. I now have to figure out a way to get to and from work because of their lack of service

Worst service ever my car was taken for repair by my insurer Miway and as soon as I got the car it was problem after problem not to mention the sh*ty paint work... worst of all the patch work they did to the engine where the intake pipe was not even clamped
I studied at Sedibeng and would not recommend it for the IT department at all. Rather take up and study elsewhere.
Avis has to be the worst when it comes to refunding or anything in general, I have been waiting for them to refund me my deposit but haven't had much luck ever since. The worst part is I returned the vehicle on the 8th of March 2023 and called them on the 14th to which they told me finance had rejected my refund due to incorrect banking details (which they had never advised me of). I have on that day provided my bank statement indicating my banking details but to this day still no help nor feedback has been given to me.
