U purchased a vacuum cleaner last year December at Gamestore in Somerset mall,this year in September I returned it to the store,as it wasn't working.i lost my receipt and whb I got to the store,I was asked to get a bank statement that confirms when the purchase was made and what the amount was .I did so,and I was told that my request will be forwarded to the headoffice for a response,as at a branch level they cannot assist me without a receipt,and I was told that I should keep the item with me,and not leave it at the branch,in case it gets lost,I followed up with the store a month ago,to find out what is happening,no one from headoffice called me,and I was told they can't do anything,becos they haven't received any response either.2 weeks ago,I received a call from headoffice,and the call got cut off,when I tried to call back,no one was answering .I then went to the branch,at Gamestore in Somerset mall,to find out of the headoffice has perhaps sent through the recent pt,and the answer was no.i then asked to speak to the manager ,her name was Gerda,who asked me to give her a few minutes,to try and see if she can assist.after about 15 minutes,she came back with a print out that had 3 dates in December on it showing the same item that I was returning,and she comparwd it with my item and said they will work on that,hence the brqnch has not yet forwarded the receipt.my question to her was ,if they could retrieve that info in 15 minutes,why was I sent away in September and until now,December with no response.she couldn't answer,all she told me that all she can do for me now is for me to bring the item back to the store,and they will log it in for repair,noting that service providers that can fix the item will be closing business on the 15,which is today,alternatively,I must take the item directly to verimark.i told her I was not going to wait another month to 3 months to get a response about what they story is about the item.i do t want the item anymore, not interested in ti being fixed,all I want is my money back.she then said there's nothing else she can do.i then sent a message on their Whatsapp headoffice number,stating what my challenge was,and I was told that a reference number is being created and someone will call me.Last week thursday,someone called me,claiming to be the regional manager,noting my frustration and telling me that he will get into contact with the branch and revert bqck,the day ended without me receive any call,instead,I got a call from his colleague around 4:55pm,telling me that he will follow up with the gentleman and get back kto me,until today,no one has called me,and I'm still sitting with an item that's not working,that I paid R2000 for.

They have been my provider for a decade now,and have always been there on time,offering excellent service.I will continue putting my trust on them,concerning a cover for my car.
