I wanted to track a parcel sent via Aramex this week. It was drawing to end of my working day on Friday and I needed to know if I had to wait for delivery. Their tracking system was disappointingly vague, with very little information. As they have an Aramex Bot Help WhattsApp System available, I tried following this route. The Aramex Bot proved to be useless, but fortunately there was an option to request an agent, which I eventually did. The agent responded fairly quickly (after the usual "we are experiencing high call volumes at the moment"). Then my experience changed. Ayanda, the agent, immediately started tracking my parcel in great detail. Understandably it took a long time, as the parcel went from Sandton - Jhb airport - East London - and was then en route to my town. She sent me every detail and followed it up with precise day of delivery. This was all done via WhattsApp, so I did not have to stay on the phone for indefinite periods, as would usually be the case. It also made for clear communication. In conclusion: The best part of the Aramex Bot support system was that it connected me to a live agent who proved to be 5-star efficient! Support agent Ayanda saved the day and added stars to my review!
I recently ordered a gift, but forgot to calculate in 3 public holidays that could impact delivery and was therefore content with the e.t.a. However, Takealot kept changing delivery date, making it earlier and earlier! In the end it was delivered on a public holiday, long before the original estimation.
I recently had an unusual urgent request that I asked when I placed my contact lens order with Lensesonly. In reality I did not expect my request to be carried out, as it was just not feasible. However, I was in for a surprise. The very next day I was contacted by Prabashnie, a member of their team, who then proceeded to make the impossible happen! What refreshing service provision. I was treated as a person, my request taken seriously and did not feel like "just another client". I can only thank my previous provider, Contact Lens Club, whose service made me look elsewhere for a lens provider. A huge shout out to Lensesonly.
Posting a complaint on HelloPeter was the only way I could previously get any response from Vodacom. How sad. And after a plethora of e-mails from different departments, my problem has still not been solved! Thankfully we see many new service providers emerging in South Africa.
Somehow another person has been issued with my Vodacom cell phone number. I have used this prepaid number for a number of years. Now Vodacom keeps sending me threatening messages to say my account is in arrears. I get daily anonymous phone calls. If I answer these calls, the person on the other side puts down the phone. I even got a message to with the Covid Test results of this person. I sent a detailed account of my complaint to Vodacom, along with copies of the messages. Although I received a reply the very next day, it seems as if the person had not even read my email! Does Vodacom recycle prepaid numbers that are still in use??
