Horrible Service
I just want to vent about the horrible experience I had at Vida e Caffè Hemingway today. I went there for the first time to buy some food, expecting a simple transaction, but instead, I got hit with the rudest cashier ever. This cashier, Aphiwe Myengwa, was not just unhelpful, he straight-up made fun of me right in front of everyone. It was embarrassing and completely uncalled for. I don’t know how a customer service role allows for that kind of behavior, but honestly, it left a really bad impression on me. If that’s how they treat new customers, I can guarantee I’m not going back or recommending this place to anyone. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting service.

FNB ATM
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with FNB regarding two separate incidents that have severely impacted my experience with your bank. The first incident occurred at the Mdantsane branch ATM, where I attempted to deposit money. Unfortunately, the ATM cancelled my deposit but failed to return the money, providing only a receipt instructing me to visit the branch. By the time I received this receipt, the branch was already closed, leaving me unable to resolve the issue immediately. Today, a similar problem occurred Beaconbay. I was making a deposit for a very urgent purpose when the ATM froze and cancelled the transaction without returning my money or providing any receipt. Upon entering the branch for assistance, I was told to fill out some forms for a claim and was informed that the reimbur*****t process would take some time. This response shows a lack of urgency and consideration, especially given the critical nature of the funds I was trying to deposit. I am profoundly disappointed by the way these incidents have been handled and by the apparent disregard for customer convenience and urgency. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend FNB to others seeking reliable banking services.
