I was given an amount to settle a loan on 08 April 2026. which I paid immediately. I was told by Vuyo Gogela (FNB Loans Dept. 087 030 3495) that the account would be zeroed, and I would receive a settlement letter within 5 working days. The next day, 09 April 2026, I called back to confirm that my payment had been received. I spoke to "Asanda" who confirmed that it had been, and that I would receive my settlement letter within 5 working days. In spite of having called back on several occasions, and have also raised several complaints, the issue remains unresolved. In frustration, I phoned FNB on 12 May and requested that all my accounts be closed. I was told that there were still some items "in progress", and that they would phone me back in 2 days to assist me. I have heard nothing. This service (or lack thereof) is unacceptable. I am beyond angry.
It appears to be impossible to speak to someone or to get an email response to request the immediate removal of a CV and personal information that appears to have been uploaded to your platform without the consent or knowledge of the individual concerned. Emails do not work, no one answers the phone number given on the website. This is extremely frustrating!
I have used them for years and they have never disappointed me. Just make sure you select a decent plan, and be sure to read and understand your policy!
They were unable to beat my current premiums, so they put me in touch with their "Promotions" team to collect their offer. I submitted all of the requirements well within the time frame, and have heard nothing back, despite several follow ups.
I tried to book a ride on January 08 January. It was cancelled by Uber, but the money was deducted from my account. This happened twice in quick succession. I have contacted Uber and I just keep getting the same response from Usman Ahmed: " As mentioned earlier, we're aware of this issue and our specialized team is working to fix it. As soon as we have an update, we'll reach back out. We appreciate your patience while we get you the right answer". Requests for a contact number have ben ignored. Uber owes me R122 and it has been made abundantly clear by the lack of resolution that this is very low on their list of priorities. I am very angry and disappointed!
