I would like to express my Happiness, Joy and the Assurance I received from Discovery Insure Staff especially Adi Mudau regarding a claim on my car that was written off. I was extremely frustrating but she made sure the whole process was seamless and assured me that all will be fine. I am extremely Happy with the end results regarding my claim
This happened on 24 February 2024 I took in my fur baby cat I found her at home at 09:30pm with a tilted head. I googled the nearest Vet and was directed to Fourways Vet Hospital. The worst experience I went through together with my cat. After spending more than 30 minutes in the waiting area to be attended too. When we were FINALLY assisted by this lady she racially profiled my daughter and I and could not even provide me with options to assist my cat. My cat was stressed and scared and reacted accordingly which is normal but this Vet lady said if she acts like that we will have to put her down I told her she has never acted like that and that can only mean that Shes scared and stressed. The lady was only telling me about costs of R20,000 and R4,000 which will be the MRI Scan and not really helping my cat. she gave me the price for cremation without even counseling us properly. I was literally on the floor crying and screaming she did not even say any words of encouragement. She said she will give my daughter and I a moment and took my cat to the Cage without even allowing us to embrace the cat and say our last goodbyes. I felt violated throughout this whole process as I brought in my cat to get helped and not killed or put to a permanent sleep. I have not been able to sleep and during this whole time it felt like I was watching a horror movie, and everything was done in less that 10 minutes yet the other people before me were in the consultation room more thank 30 minutes and yes, they were white I feel like they were treated far better than me and my daughter and were given more options. She told me that my cat will be put to sleep immediately and only called us to the cage to say our last goodbyes and the look on my cat's face is still stuck with me today and I can barely sleep because my cat's life was cut too short. When I had calmed down and RESEARCHED MORE why my cat had a tilted neck, she had an ear infection which can be treated, and my cat would be fine in 2 - 3 weeks and this information I was not given by the Vet AND they were so quick to put her down without even considering our emotional state at the time. I have been crying since the 24 February because how badly we were assisted with my daughter and the trauma we went through together with my cat I don't know why she never gave my cat a fighting chance. The lady's name is Dr Lauren Daisley that assisted us or barely assisted should I say!!!!
MSD Consulting has distorted my whole financial life under false misrepresentation of what the business entails. I was called by Sthephani around the 11 October 2022 advising that they can assist me in saving some money as they are helping consumers who are over indebted and in regulation with NCR along with the government to save consumers some money as we're being overcharged in terms of interest rates. My question was to them are you a debt review company as I plan on changing my car next year and she advised that this would not be a problem as it does mot affect my credit profile. After they had debited my account i went to my bank to find out if they were paid and thats when I was told I have been placed under debt review tried calling Noma no answer called the company directly and still no answer only to get through yesterday being a Tuesday told them to remove my application and cancel it was then told I must pay R3000. I asked the lady will this remove the status on profile she said no only to obtain the 17.2 document to be sent to my creditors as they do not remove the the status of debt review . I Tried to do a reversal which was unsuccessful as they have locked it on their system so i had to change my details told the lady I cannot afford to pay the R3000 as you guys have already taken my money without paying my creditors. I feel i have been misinformed and Scammed under false misrepresentation by MSD Consulting and i was also not told about the two month's admin fee as i was told by my bank about the fee and not by MSD Consulting which resulted in defaulting on both my car and home loan payment which is a setback considering that i always pay on time .
