Active since Feb 2022
I did a very bad review for DSTV 6-month ago, now we are experiencing exactly the same problem, we made payment on the app, like we do every month and now our service is disconnected and the call centre people stick to the same boring script they gave me 6 months ago and my subscription is still not active. And DSTV wonders why they are hemorrhaging customers!!!!
They are great at sales but that is where it ends. They have very unprofessional teams that do the installation. They comleted my pool after many delays, they installed paving blocks, the grout between blocks kept on cracking I was told its normal, they rapaired the cracks and the cracks appeared again only to be told again that its normal and that they would only come back after the winter rains have passed. They are quick to ask for payment of deposits and other money but non existent when it comes to aftersale service.
I have been a Telkom Mobile customer for over 10 years ,never missed a payment (we spend almost R4k per month). Being retrenched in midlle 2023 we ended up misiing one payment end of December, My phone services was suspended immediately, they did not even want me to make an arrangement. The full debit order went off from my account for December and January on the 1st of February 2024, they said our service would be active after 2 hours, it has now been almost a week since the debit order went off from my account, we still do not have any service. When calling the call center they have a different stoty every time.
Pathetic! I paid R699 for my DSTV streaming package on the 2nd of December 2023. It was on for 1 day . Since then we have called almost everyday speaking to the call centre and two "Team Leaders" to sort this out. Its the 2nd of January 2024 and after another almost 40 min on a call with the call centre i have decided to give up. DSTV stole R699 from me and i will never again make use of them! And they wonder why they are losing customers.
From the day we asked for the quote to the day our furniture was delivered what a plesure, the driver Vernon was always very professional and more importantly always on time. No damage to any furniture. Well done team Britz!
