Good advice and response time!
My hubby ordered a headset/earphones from the vodabucks department. The headset does not work even when charged. I phoned them the day after on the 16th of OCTOBER. Gave them all his details and the problem with the product. I asked that they exchange it for a similar one in working condition. They said yes and amen. We then waited a few days with no communication from Vodacom. I phoned again and was promised a 72hr waiting period. This passed and I phoned again. The vodabucks team sound like they're either drinking or have all had recent strokes. Slurred speech and apparent "difficulty" understanding basic words. Hubby received a call and confirmed all the details with a man who again had slurred speech. We THEN hear nothing from Vodacom and I call AGAIN. This time apparently the delay was that they did not get hubbies details which is I swear to GOD IMPOSSIBLE SINCE I SPELLED EVERYTHING OUT, "A FOR ALPHA...ETC". I complained on X and Vodacom asked me to DM them. I did that on 03 DECEMBER. When reaching out again, apparently they are still waiting for feedback. SINCE YOU ARE AN ISP I NEED TO KNOW WHY THIS IS TAKING SO LONG? IT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS. DO YOU SEND YOUR REQUESTS AND COMMUNICATION VIA PIDGEON? WHY DID HE RECEIVE A CALL PROMISING ANOTHER CALL AND NO ONE HAS PHONED US YET? WHY IS NO ONE EXPLAINING ANYTHING TO US? WHY DOES VODACOM SO CONVENIENTLY FORGET ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WE HAVE TO BEG FOR A RESOLUTION?????
Can you please use a different courier service. We have ordered from Vodacom and RAM was supposed to do the delivery. They gave our parcel to someone else and said it would take 24-48 hours to fetch this parcel and fix the situation, by that time the ***** will be long gone. The call center consultant who I spoke with at RAM was extremely rude and when I asked her how this mistake was made, she simply refused to say another word until I hung up the call. I don't want to refrain from using vodacom but if this is your only courier company I would consider it. My husband even received an email stating that he, himself had signed the parcel.
Absolutely disgusting service. We ordered a parcel; it was out for delivery and RAM gave it so the wrong person. My husband receives a SMS and email saying that he signed for the package. Neither of us were contacted that a delivery driver had arrived or was there to deliver. I phoned customer support, and they said it would take 24-48 hours to find this parcel (by that time the person will be long gone). I asked how RAM hands over a parcel to someone who has no relation to the person to be delivered to and this lady gave me the silent treatment. She refused to say another word on the remainder of the call, she was rude from the beginning when I spoke to her. How does RAM still operate with such poor service? Giving out gifts to random strangers (*******) and treating their customers like ****. No urgency at all in rectifying the situation, just a shrug of the shoulders, silent treatment and a waiting time because the driver decided to hand out freebies. Apparently, it wasn't even signed by someone resembling our names yet on the email we received it said that my husband himself signed for it.
Hello everyone, I have created this account for the sole purpose of this post. I would like to give a warning to anyone looking into buying a car from Neil Joubert Motors. I bought a second-hand car from him in the beginning of March 2020 just before lockdown started. I paid for the car in full and was given the keys to the car. He promised the papers would be ready soon. Shortly after, lockdown started and everything was closed down. I found this to be a plausible excuse as to why the car had not been put on my name after the purchase and waited. It has been two years now and hundreds of messages, phone calls and visits after. The car has still not been put on my name nor have I received papers for it. If you need to contact them then you need to visit the business property because no one will phone you back or reply on your messages. They will ignore you unless you show up and force them to see you face to face. I own a car I cannot sell or even repair further as I will only be wasting my money on something I do not even own. Spare yourself the trouble and lawyer fees. DO NOT BUY FROM NEIL JOUBERT MOTORS.
