Their customer service is very poor. The agent hangs up on you if they cannot assist you. Very argumentative, bad listener and does not pick up after they drop the call. It seems to be a private number as well, with one agent available. Their exchange policy is flawed as well. If they are out of stock, there should be a refund because there are literally no other options.
I paid for delivery online but was told that my parcel was sent for collection instead. Meaning I had to pay more money to travel to the courier offices. The courier charged me extra upon arrival of my parcel and they have a **** that deducts money from your country each day. Now I have an ongoing ***** case with my bank and my card had to be stopped. My package is severely damaged on top of everything. The customer service is very unhelpful as well.
Absa refuses to return the rest of my money that was taken for pre-authorisation. I have only received a portion of my money. They inform me that funds are removed and then weeks later inform me that they are reserved. R1307 in total taken. Only R673 returned to me. They REFUSE to re-open my case and trace the remaining funds. I have no option at this point but to escalate to the Ombudsman as it seems there is no way forward.

All they want is to call general enquiries which I can call myself. What is the point of visiting a branch only for them to stick a phone in your hand? This app is daylight *******. Their pre-authorisation system is extremely flawed. Each I requested a ride or checked if any drivers are available? Money taken, but no rides! Each time a driver cancels? Money taken! You are left having to try and request again! That money is gone now! Ended having R1500+ taken from my account and no ride was ever taken. Extremely flawed system! I'm left with no money.
Impossible to get through to their customer care line. WhatsApp chat is useless and their callbacks are spam with no answer on the other end. My airtime advance has been taken despite having R35 available on the 10/10/2023. Now I owe an amount I never used. Their email is also useless.
