I ride motorcycles from 1981 starting with off road cycles to superbikes and now touring bikes. All my years I had Japanese manufactured bikes. I purchase in 2015 a BMW K1600GTL top of the range motorcycle at that time, and that was my first BMW and most definitely my last. My motorcycle went for each 10 000km service at a BMW dealer even when it was out of warranty. Currently on 56 000km. The problem now is that the 5th gear of the bike striped. How do a 5th gear strip, is beyond my reasoning as it is not a power gear and more of a overdrive. If the 1st 2nd or 3rd gear strip I can still believe it but a 5th gear. In my 38 years of biking I never ever even heard of a 5th gear that stripped. The cost of repairing this 5th gear is extremely high, which I’m prepared to pay. I’m most definitely going to sell the bike as soon as the repairs is done, hopefully before the end of this year. I handed my bike in to Sandton BMW for the repairs on 5th of December it is now the 12 February 2019 and still no bike. That is extremely bad customer service and I’m extremely disappointed in the brand BMW as well as the service I receive from a global manufacturer such as BMW. I expected much more from a global brand on the product and the service. As mentioned above this is most definitely my last BMW brand that I will ever purchase and I will go back to Japanese manufacturing motorcycles that never ever gave me any trouble, even with extreme hard riding. Spec-Savers at The Marc in Sandton is by far miles ahead of any computation, as there service is of exceptional high quality. They go out of there way to help and assist customers. My spectacles frame broke on Friday afternoon late. I ran into there shop for assistance and was helped immediately. I had to select a new frame, and my spectacles had to be send away for fitment. I asked them to have it done ASAP as I'm 6 days away from going to Germany for the holidays. They promised me that the spectacles will be ready by Tuesday. I was very skeptical, but they proofed me wrong. Early Tuesday morning before 09:00 they phoned me to come and pick up the spectacles with the new frame fitted. I'm extremely grade full for there exceptional service. Well done to all. Much appreciated.
AND STILL NO DELIVERY AS FROM APRIL. WILL BE QUICKER FOR ME TO SWIM TO JAPAN AND BACK TO GET MY GOODS DELIVERED. YOU CAN EXPECT A VISIT FROM THE SCORPIONS FRUADULENT DEPARTMENT. Really useless DONT EVER MAKE US OF MERKADO.
Ticket number 6901 ordered on 17th April, still no delivery after numerios e-mails. Everytime you get the same lame excuse for a aswer. The respons from the so called customer service (hehehehe what service) is a gerenic e-mael with the same stupit lame excuse. They don't aswer the phone you can phone as many times as you whant. Steps will be taken. BEWARE PEOPLE NEVER EVER BUY FROM MERKADO. This was my first and last time. Now check the same useless gerenic repons from them.
Merkado is the most pathetic excuse for a on line business I have ever seen. There is no service no commitment from them totally bad. I’m going to open a case of fraud and theft against them. I ordered goods from them on the 17th April, still no delivery. Correspondence to their customer care centre generates a generic reply. Please never ever make use of them. Not happy at all with them, they should close their doors. Bunch of crooks.
<p>My wife and I recently booked a train journey through JB Train tours to the KKNK at Oudtshoorn, my review is as follows;</p> <p>The train going to Beauford West; When we got to the Johannesburg station the train was standing on the platform, we were 2 hours before departure on the train. Our compartment was absolutely discussing dirty. The floor the walls the windows everything was disgusting, even snot on the walls. JB Tours know which compartments was booked out on their name. Why did the not inspect the compartments or send in a cleaning team to clean. The toilets did not work, the lights in the toilets did not work.<br />At Beaufort West we got off the train that was 2 hours late on to a bus organised and paid for by JB Tours. I have never ever seen a more discussing dirty and unroadworthy bus in my live. 60% of the bus seats where totally lose. The seats where disgustingly dirty, with bird droppings on the seats and floor even the centre drivers mirror was full of bird droppings.<br />Our way back after the KKNK on the same bus in the same state, we waited for 3hours for the train.<br />On the train at night time there was no food no drinks.<br />The train journey back was discussing with no water no electricity no flushing toilets.<br />The train back was only 9 hours late. 9 Hours in a train were the smell of stinking toilets.<br /> </p> <p>This was our first and most definitely our last time with JB Tours.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
