I’m experiencing problem with absa . My car is in arrears with 3 months because I lost my job early this year February. June 2025 i got a new job and called absa that I got a job and would like to make payment arrangements. They told me they can’t help me my account is no longer with them, it’s with the collectors. The company name is ASFIN i must make arrangements with them. I called the company ( ASFIN) and got helped by the gentleman called Brain. He then explained to me how we can proceed payment arrangements. The first option: Was to pay a once of fee for my arrears and have a discount of 70%. I couldn’t go with that option because I just started work and i don’t have money. Second option I made with him was to pay my arrears weekly meaning divide the amount i owe into 4 weeks. I tried that but only managed to pay for one week because of affordability. Then on the 25 August 2025 I asked him for a loan restructuring option and extend my loan period. He said we can we can do that instead since we failed with other options. Friday afternoon on the 29 August I sent him the insurance documents and he text me that account has been closed and handed over to the high court for a court order repossession.. So I’m asking my lender(ABSA) to assist me with a loan restructuring and loan extension to cover my arrears. I don’t know who to reach out and I’m willing to pay my arrears. Please assist . My account is currently up to date with instalments since I got a job I pay my instalments on time. Only problem is arrears
Poor services . On the 10/03/2025 I bought a part for my truck cash in SAC Boksburg and returned it because it was a wrong part. I was helped by the guy called Emmanuel. They didn’t have the part I was looking for. I asked for the refund and was told will receive my refund it the next 2 to 3 working days. I must leave my bank details. Till today I haven’t received anything. I always have to make follow up with them and I’m tired.
Bad service today they had to deliver my parcel . I waited the whole day and call their customer service to track my parcel. I was told the driver is busy with other delivery. Now I get an sms saying they couldn’t get hold of me. They are ******
It’s been 2 months now iv asked them to cancel my credit card protection plan since they rejected my claim but they are still deducting .
This people don’t care about their customers only care about making money. Instead of showing remorse and compassion after they sold me a faulty car they still dragging my matter and is still unresolved till today. I have requested that we settle our deal with absa fastbuy as they are also willing to help me regarding the faulty car I bought from we buy car to speedy up the process and settle the deal to avoid my account arrears. But the management from we buy cars is responding to the matter. I regret buying cars from this people and this is my fourth car I bought from them. They don’t care abt their customers
FNB service is very bad and unprofessional. Around February/March 2024 . Iv opened a *****ulent case of tollgates transaction going out of my business account LBA project and services it’s a sole proprietor account . I closed my card but still the transaction were still going out. I called them and they told me they will open a concern and escalade the matter . I never received a reference number or any feedback about my case since then. Now on the 19 June 2024 I have received a call from Symington de kok attorneys that my account is handed over to them for account been in arrears. Whereas on my side I’m still waiting for FNB ***** department to update me with my case. FNB doesn’t care abt people. I regret opening an account with them
I’m really disappointed on we buy cars service. My matter is still unresolved. Iv been told they still escalating the matter. I dont understand why they want to drag this matter when they have all the report about the car sold to me that it was written off and also not disclosing to me the car had a water engine damaged. When the sales person assured me the car is a very good condition. I mean this is a third car I bought from them and all of them were faulty. Such a huge company but they are not professional only care about making money . They don’t care about providing a good customer service. I can’t wait any longer I want my deal to be cancelled.
I have a bad experience with we buy cars . They have ****med me 3 times, first car I bought from them had mechanical problems after having it for only 2 weeks. the second one had wrong mileages on dashboard they were reversed only find out after taking the car for service at Audi. The third deal I got is this current BMW M4 I bought last year January 2023 at we buy cars south. I never had issues with the car until I tried selling it for something else different , all dealerships can’t help me because they found out that the profile history on the car with BMW SA the car on 2016 had water engine damage and it’s been written off. I called BMW SA myself to get the report on the car and yes it’s true the car had water engine damage 2016. I don’t want it anymore. I want them to take back the car because I cant sell or trade it in to any dealer with engine water damage.
My complain has not been resolved till this time and my arrears are affecting my credit history. I’m really disappointed with this absa credit life protection. Very unprofessional . The reference number is C-37560103
Absa credit life protection plan is scheme and their services is horrible. I was retrenched at work on the 30 March 2024. I app**** for my credit life protection plan with Absa for my personal loan and credit card cover on the 22 April 2024. Today is the 4th May 2024 I haven’t got any help from them , no feedback or follow ups from them. My accounts are in arrears they don’t care about how this arrears affecting my credit score and iv been consistent with payment for my insurance cover. Never missed a payment but now I have to run after them to get a good service. Im very disappointed on them. they selling people lies. Guys be careful with absa.
