Bootlegger Coffee Company in 188 Beach Road, Strand, Cape Town. We visited your branch on Sunday, 9 July at around 15:40. There was only one young man sitting outside at an 8-seater table. There were single tables available inside your restaurant. There were quite a few people standing outside waiting in a queue to be seated. You could have moved that one person inside and give the larger crowd a bigger table. We saw quite a few potential customers turning away as there were not tables big enough to accommodate 4 or more people, yet you have this one young man sitting all alone on his laptop at an 8-seater table. Also, he was only ordering hot beverages, but we saw him reaching inside his bag and started to eat something. So, you've lost about 15 potential customers just to accommodate only one customer who is not even fully supporting your business. He never bothered to order food because he was munching away at whatever was in his bag and only ordered beverages. Whoever is the manager on duty needs to catch a wakeup and focus on what he gets paid for. We're very disappointed and will not support this branch in the future.
I have an indured animal here and I made a mistake thinking the people at Cape Exotics Animal Hospital would understand my concern and try to help. Their working hours weekdays are 08:00 to 18:30. After numerous attemps a lady finally answered the phone just after 18:00 and advised me to send photos of our indured animal to their whatsapp number. No body responded even though they showed online. When I telephoned their landline again at 18:12 an answering machine took the calls as if they're already closed. Come on people! Thanks to you I am stressed out and won't shut an eye tonight. For a first time customer experience this is very disappointing. It's actually scary that in a moment of panick and stress that my only option is to make contact with you people and still you just don't have a care in the world. Frightening indeed!
This is the how maniest times I enter your shop in Somerset West where the coloured males working there walking around inside the shop with their masks on their chin between other customers. They just don't bother to wear masks and it seems like managment also fail to notice that. I won't support a business where they can't even follow basics rules and don't bother to follow the law. You people are sending out the wrong message, so get your act together and wake up.
On March 28th, 2022, I conversed with Portia who usually deals with orders on their WhatsApp business account and then liaise with Sandra who I have never met but I assume she's the owner of the Lampshade Studio in Somerset West, Western Cape. I enquired about two lampshades to be customized that I wish to order. She gave me the measurements and I told Portia I will return the following week with the trimmings as per her request as I need to leave the following day for business in another province. Today, April 4th, 2022, I did the effort to get the things early in the morning Portia had asked me to get. After several failed attempts to contact them I stood in front of their shop where they used to be full of emptiness. The shop is cleaned out as if they had moved. Someone read my messages that where sent to their WhatsApp business account but till now it is ignored. This is bad customer service and I'm not interested in doing business with them ever again.
