As someone obsessed with consistency, I’m fiercely loyal to my barber. That said, I was genuinely impressed by Khanya at the Vincent branch in East London. I was back home from Johannesburg and needed a cut, so I set out to find a barber I could rely on whenever I’m in EL—and Khanya passed my personal vetting twice. Beyond the technical skill, his calm demeanour and personalised, easy conversation were the cherry on top. Most importantly, the haircut was exactly how I wanted it. I’ve been with the same barber for three years, so that’s saying a lot.
I chose Wimpy at Rosebank mall thrice this week as my workstation - all three times the service was impeccable! From the manager who has the most kind, approachable and hands-on demeanor to the workers who served me with great hospitability. Special mention to Susan who recalled my face even though I hadn't been there in months, to Agnes who served me with an infectious charisma and a joyful manner; thank you for suggesting the salted caramel milkshake, I greatly enjoyed it, to Anetsi who served me today with an unforgettable smile and timeous delivery. Sensational Customer Care everyone, do keep it up! And thanks for the free Coffee on Voting day.
I wish it was possible to give no stars at all . I cancelled my Rain subscription and I sent a ticket to request an agent with regards to getting a refund. I waited and waited for the service provider to get back to me and I never recieved any communication from Rain , I then called more than once , it seemed the agents were just dropping my call purposely to get me to another agent. The back and forth questions with ill-experienced agents that asked every other question under the moon except answering to my query . The service I have recieved from Rain is deplorable. The website has no email available in case the telephone number doesn’t work , which I find a bottom of the barrel tactic to deter people with genuine complaints. I am utterly dissappointed by Rain , never mind the actual product whose usefulness exponentially decreases upon buying it , in a world of Loadshedding RAIN is the worst service-provider you can trust unless you’d love a double headache.
Brilliant service from Martin Mkhwa**** at Rosebank FNB , from the moment I walked in the cheerful gentleman walked me through the resolution of my problem and it was a very personalised interaction, service delivery and people skills at its best . Out of 10 I would rate the gentleman 100 . Keep it up !
