Read the fine print carefully when making any travel bookings with this company. They provide you with their policies, but it is important to note that the discounted flights they offer come with a 12-month membership that can't be cancelled after you have made your booking. I did not read the section where you need to sign up with them for 12 months to get the discounted flights. I am now stuck with a 12-month subscription that they won't cancel, costing R229 per month. You will have to cancel a month before it ends, otherwise it renews annually automatically. NEVER make any bookings with eDreams! Bogus company, not worth the trouble. Their so called prime support line is non-existant. I've been on the phone for 30 minutes, even though they promise to answer within 120 seconds. Arti, the virtual assistant keeps repeating the same things over. I am blocking them at my bank.
THIS IS THE COMPLAINT IN EMAIL FORM I SEND TO MTN: I am extremely unhappy with customer care. I was at Preller Plein MTN Branch in Bloemfontein and l asked the lady there, where must l put in a complaint against customer service. She tried helping me, but had to quit, because it was 16:42 and she said you close at 17:00. Here is my complaint: 17 Jan - phoned customer care to cancel this data contract. Waited 23 min and then was disconnected. Then l phoned again and waited again. I then send an email (attached). The next day l tried phoning again and was answered. The lady informed me that the contract only ends on 25 Jan and that I must end it on that day, not a day earlier and not a day later!!!! So on the 25th of January l phoned again and was disconnected again. Unfortunately for MTN and maybe myself, l have a life with responsibilities and cannot hold on the phone until l am helped. So again l send an email. (Attached) MTN then let me know, even with a reference number and "warm" regards that they apologize for the delayed response and will respond as soon as possible. (Reference number: 01213533-2b41- 44b0-8179-a8f48f83342d). I then phoned customer care yet again. I explained that l want to cancel the contract, because it expired. The lady then asked whether l don't want data or anything else. I vehemently told her that l don't even want the number anymore and said that we have wifi at home. So l don't need data anymore. I again said l just want to cancel the contract in total. She told me to hold on, which took a whole fricken while and then she said the contract is now cancelled. On 1 February l phoned again and send an email again, because l did not get any confirmation that the contract was cancelled. On 2 February Kamkgelo Mlotshwa asked for my Bank name, contact numbers and email-address, which l send on 3 February. Up to this date, again no confirmation was send to me. Today the whole amount was deducted from my account AGAIN, without the data contract being cancelled. So l phoned yet again. I was disconnected twice. Third time was lucky, or so l thought. The lady that l talked to said that l have to hold, she will check the system to see why it has not been cancelled. THEN I WAS DISCONNECTED AGAIN!!! I phoned again and at end last got to retentions. I explained the whole story again. To my shock she said it was not cancelled. That means l had to pay R550 for something l already thought was cancelled. I specifically asked that she must cancel and delete the number. She gave me two options, after she became short with me, immediate cancellation or 30 day cancellation. I almost lost my cool and told her to just cancel immediately. I then got an sms congratulating me on my order!!! What in the world!!!! Two minutes later l got an email saying l succesfully applied for my contract and will be contacted soon for delivery details. I am not someone that curse, but what the hell is going on??? I am so fed up.
Is Samsung busy with some kind of scam? I "received" a R4000 MSC cruise, because of an offer Samsung made in Dec 2017. Have sent various mails. So far l've been contacted by 5 people from ********** ********** ********** ********** ********** ********** and ********** This is just ridiculous! The first time l send an e-mail was on the 6 Jan. It's now 21 Mar. Still no reply! Don't even bother to phone them!!!
I cannot believe the audacity of this company! My view of so called honest people has changed drastically. I ordered a mauve-coloured infinity dress from Storm Haussman, through Michelle Wright on Facebook. She told me to pay the money in Storm's account before she can start making the dress. Stupid me, paid the whole amount! The dress was sent to me, but in a purple colour, too small and too long as well, even after l send my correct measurements. She implied that l am lying and that it is not the dress she send me. She even went so far as saying its my camera that makes the dress look purple. She later edited the photo l send her, so that the dress looks mauve. My skin tone and my white duvet is now yellow!! She send me a picture of a mauve coloured dress, but in the mirror image on her facebook site, (with natural light you can clearly see, its purple). I send the dress back and gave her the tracking number. The dress has arrived at the Table View post office on 8 August. I tracked it and told her to just fetch it there. She told Michelle that the dress is not there, after l phoned the Post Office and got confirmation that it is indeed there. Michelle does not even acknowledge my problem even though l ordered from her! She copied a profile photo of my family and zoomed in on my sister-in-law, and asked if it was me! It's actually deplorable to what ends these people will go to shift the blame!! She said l have to take it up with Storm. If only Storm would get back to me. Now l am at my whit's end, with no dress and no money. How is this possible. I have a legal right of 7 days cooling off period if l am not satisfied with my online purchases. I send the dress back the morning after l received it. I am so disappointed. My sister's wedding is on the 23rd of September (3 weeks from now) and l cannot buy a new dress, because l'm waiting for my money. Because of her behaviour, my sister's wedding will be ruined. Does she not care or is this the reality of how she operates in her business? Shame on her.
