I checked my vehicle in by Halfway Toyota Ottery 14th April 2025, it's the 7th May 2025 and the service is yet to be completed. My vehicle needed a service which has still not been tended to. Every week promises are made and my vehicle is still not ready. Its three weeks now and my business is suffering the lost.
I bought two vehicles the first week of September at Boksburg Toyota. Vehicles were received in the most questionable state ever. Because my business is situated in Cape Town, the vehicles were returned to Toyota Tokai to correct the issues. One vehicle has returned to me, the other is still in the care of Toyota and has tremendously affected my business financial state. I made contact with Toyota South Africa two weeks ago, up till now all I have is a reference number. I've called the Boksburg branch multiple times, to no avail. I've made contact with Tokai Branch, no response. This is a purchase I'm starting to regret. As someone who runs a tourism company I've made purchases over the last 15 years and I've never been treated this bad. Toyota can either handle this or I'll consult the Ombudsman
