It was a pleasant experience, my policy was reviewed again this year and I was able to get a discount of R102, I’m so happy with how Areef explained my benefits and helped me save money.
Pathetic service. First of all this insurance is glad to deduct money every month and cover nothing. I registered an earthquake claim, our property has a big crack. The tenants reported that house was rattling and the kids were even panicking It left a big damage to the house walls. Std bank appointed MM Workman’s who are so unprofessional. First of all, the contractor is not reachable on telephone, their telephone goes through to a company that says they are tired of getting calls for people looking for MM Workmans Secondly, the guy by the name of Khotso there, is so rude, he couldn’t honour 2 appointments he set, the last one was for Friday 28/07 between 9:00 and 10:00. At 10:45 our tenant contacted him asking how far he is,he then postponed to 11:30 since he was in Kempton park 11:50 I get a text message from the tenant saying khotso never pitched. When I called him, he ignored my calls. I got so angry since he was messing us up, I called Standard Bank insurance to report him, I found that he has excused himself from the claim asking for insurance to appoint another contractor. Based on how SIL handles their claims, it will take another week for them to appoint a contractor. I called again to speak to a manager, I couldn’t not be afforded that opportunity. I left the message for the manager to contact me, nobody cared about calling. They are busy collecting premiums from both my properties and yet fail to follow up on a claim. On Monday I’m surely writing to an ombudsman, also in a process obtaining quotes from different insurers. I cannot be held at ransom by them. I’m surely pulling our 2 x business accounts held with them, we deserve better
Pathetic service First when you call switchboard is in Cape Town, leave a message for jhb branch, nobody bothers to call When you call the branch manager, First we send a pump to be fixed under warranty on the 30th of March 3 weeks later no news, following up by email still no news. When I eventually wrote to manager, he apologises and say he doesn’t know what’s happening, when he finally gets someone to contact me, we make arrangements for payment which I did and forwarded pop. It was on Tuesday, we then arranged for a drop off when their team is doing deliveries in Randburg area. Thursdays delivery to us never happened, regardless of the fact that pump was loaded on the truck. When I call on Friday to ask; I get another cold shoulder and then manager says he’s calling the shop again to find out why. He’s basically out of excuses to give me. When the driver finally arrived for a drop off, he tells me long story about leaving depot at 12pm so he couldn’t make it to us, only us. He then managed to deliver at other places except for us. When I then say why, his response was he turned back since it was almost his knock off time. I don’t wish to deal with this company anymore. We suffer in the hands of the property managers and Body Corporate of Wild Olive Manor , I’m being bullied since April 23, 2022. Angor is managing the Wild Olive Manor, Pritchard Street Northriding. I’m staying here since 2011, the main entrance gate was not functioning, worse part, they had contractors fixing it when it happened that when I entered, my car was hit by a faulty gate on the side. There was an eye witness, cctv footage showing that the gate sensors didn’t work and that caused a malfunctioning of the gate. I reported the incident same day and until today the trustees and managing agents (Angor) give me the run around, my Mercedes Benz sustained a big dent on the left rear door. I have exchanged more than 50 emails back and fort between myself and Angor, to a point where I’m being ignored. I never gave up until they registered a 3rd party claim with their insurer Old mutual - OMNISURE. it’s amazing how OM is not able to finalize the claim and pay me off since there’s questionnaires to be completed by Trustees of WOM are still outstanding. As we speak I’m not looking forward to going home anymore, this ordeal has caused me anxiety, I’m even planning to sell my property because of people like them. I demand my car to be fixed since I’m not at fault and investigations proves that and I pay levies to ensure that common property gates are fully functional. To the Body corporate of Wild Olive manor and Angor, stop bullying me, I pay my dues and deserve to be treated like a human being.
