Where do I start, so back in 2023 I opened a Woolies account(store card), I started right away using it and things were great, the problem started when I tried Woolies dash, at first they delivered, my first order from them however there was items missing due to no stock, I didn’t think much of it a little disappointed, but I could deal, when I done it again nothing was delivered and hours later I got a call that was to apologise that they don’t deliver to my address and that they will refund me, I thought okay, however I was very unhappy and it was also a meal for supper and I didn’t take anything out to make and things was frozen. Well refund never came and never reflected anywhere on my statement and so it kept on repeating with different dash orders which I sometimes had no time as I would go out to see client and the time I get home was impossible to make anytime for anything, at one stage I called them and I was promised that my refunds will show in my statement and they even asked about the dates these incidents happened. Last year I bought an item and refunded the item as it wasn’t needed and guess what, the next day refund reflected. Up until now all those dash orders no refund has been recorded and what’s weird now everything in my app has been deleted. Now a year later I got a credit card and last year December the first ***** happened on it, I was in the centre and head straight to Woolies and reported it, I was told the card has been blocked and I was at ease, got my new card and activated it, however when I went shopping, I found the pin that was issued with the card wasn’t authenticated with meaning the card had no pin assigned to it, I later ended up going to a ABSA branch where I was assigned a new working pin. Then I had a issue with the Woolies financial online banking where my profile was blocked and told to call the centre. This was never solved, I’ve sent requests through Woolies app and website, only got notifications that a consultant will call me and that never happened. I thought something’s fishy. Well if that was not the enough last week Sunday my credit card started going crazy while I’m sitting at a family gathering, online purchases were being made, this was ***** happening, I called the next day to ABSA ***** centre, they told me Woolies cannot block a card and maybe they put it hold, this was weird okay it was information and I was pleased that I was being sped up with this new information, felt like I was being played at the same time, anyway they blocked the last card I received, this Sunday passed while I’m waiting for the new card, guess what the card was already being emptied and the purchases started again. Monday I called them and this was my question; how does a blocked card get ***** done on it? The first consultant froze and then the call gets cut. Usually when calls get cut they’ll call back within the first 2 mins. Right!!! Second consultant after I called back after 3 mins; I ask the same question and he says maybe it’s internally or the card has been tempered with… I asked how? And call gets cut and never returned. Right now I’m sitting with a new replacement credit card in the envelope not activated and I can’t make a payment to it as I’m not sure what’s going on and nothing has been resolved. How does one deal with this and hence I’m coming to hello Peter, this is a serious matter and my instalments are going through the roof. Please if there’s anyone out there that can advise it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
On the 15 June 2024, I opened a Pick ‘n Pay account, on the 6 July 2024 I settled and closed the account, this morning when I woke up I found that Pick ‘n Pay/RCS devoted money from my banking account for a account that is closed, I disputed this with my bank and reported it as a *****ulent activity. RCS can please explain why there is a debit on a closed account and also in your disclaimer it states that if your full amount is paid before the due date there’ll be no interest charged, the account was literally 2 weeks old and full amount used was paid and closed. What is this and please return my money that was debited.
Bought meat at Fairfield for soup, made the soup, next day it was off, the meat however wasn’t cold, I believe this meat was either frozen and thawed and left, it wasn’t smelling funky when I added it, however the whole pot of soup was off the next day.
So this was the third time I have ordered on dash with no delivery nor a refund, this last order of today was the ultimate disappointment, so Woolies is supposed to to be so excellent in all they do from their products to their services and I really don’t get why the fuss, so I have not been refunded for orders that was never delivered by Dash, what’s worst they lie and say that they are awaiting cars, today again I never received my orders and the items that was purchased also went up after payment and delivery fees was made, my credit went down in seconds. Don’t do something if you can’t deliver, I also got told our area might be dangerous, I see dash, Uber eats, Debonairs.etc all the time here in our area. So what’s the issue and I need to be refunded as this is not on.
Since I have ubereats I had never been able to have anything delivered to me. Whether it’s morning, afternoon or in the evening… “delivery unavailable” what’s weird is that all the restaurants they recommend in the app is not more than 4.4km away. What’s the big deal
So last week Thursday I went to close my account and till today it’s not been closed, another thing is I have got the account up to date and now it’s again I’m -R95, please explain as this is extremely unprofessional and a **** to have the right to close yet they not granting to me as if I belong to them. Please advise.
So after 28 years of dealing with this bank on the 28 September I just had enough, I went to the branch to close my account and no success, my reasons for closing my account is that the bank keeps taking funds and what’s worst I keep owing the bank and there’s traces of why, Thursday I went to close this account and no success, the consultant told me it’s not possible, there’s was a withdrawal I had made of R100 on Thursday which was taken from available balance but remained in my balance as pending till this morning, to my surprise this morning my available balance went to -R193 making this even more impossible to close this account. I’m so disappointed and I I’ll never deal with this bank ever again, I cancelled my policies and yes a great loss, but I have had enough and everytime have to complain here on Hellopeter taking so much time and unnecessary complaints when the bank could just play fair. This bank is very unprofessional and I just want out and whatever monies they’ve taken must be reversed and close my account.
So it happened again #ITEM PAID NO FUNDS 1 ITE MS ON 22/09/06, why is this happening please fix it.
