Cool ideas, our internet service provider is unable to restore our internet connection now for two days. We contacted them several times and they respond with nimerous emails but still no internet connection. We explained to them that my wife is working from home and we are desperate but nothing helps. I get the impression that this is above their competency level.
I entered into a self storage agreement with Stor-Age Somerset West at a monthly rental of R2069,09 per month in September 2024. After only six months into the agreement my monthly rental was increased with 15% to R2375,00 per month in April 2025. I queried with Stor-Age Somerset West due to the fact that the 15% increase is excessive and way beyond inflation and was implemented only six months after the agreement was signed, My query was referred to Stor-Age Senior management and after many requests they are just prepared to reduce the increase to 10% which is still excessive and still only six months after entering into the agreement. My impression is that Stor-Age offers favorable rates just to get the business and once you have signed the agreement, they cant wait to increase their rates far beyond inflation well knowing that it is not easy for their tenants to move their belongings due to cost and logistical implications.

On 9 January 24 Brad qouted me R650 ro replace a 900X50X44mm piece of Meranti on my wooden window frame. He promised same day delivery. I took the window frame to his worshop on 10 January 24. When I collected the winow frame Brad informed me that he had to pay R850 for the piece of meranti and the total cost of repair is now R1299, which is R649 more than his quotation.. He never obtained my apprival for the higher cist. Secondly, I checked the cost of the piece of meranti with his supplier across the road, TIM Build and it is not R850 but only R228,80 (I have this in writing) I discussed my problem with Brad but he said he is too busy to accmpany me to his supplier to clarify the price he paid for the piece of meranti and started threatening me. Brad is dishonest and ********* He **** about the price he paid for the 900X50X40mm piece of meranti and never obtained my approval for the R1299 eventually charged to fix my window frame
My appointment to collect Visas from the Taipei liason office in Hatfield Pretoria was at 14:30. I was refused parking by the Security officers when I arrived at 14:20. Security told me to park my car outside and acome back at 14:29 if my appointment is 14:30. I explained to the Security offocer that it is impossible to arrive one minute before an appointment due to current loadshedding and traffic constraints but he told me to go and park outside in the street. He was rude and refused to give me his name. I hope Taipei liason office management realise that your experience when visiting their office starts with Security at their entrance. My experience was that Security is rude, spiteful and not helpfull at all.
I called Mix Telematics on 16 January. 23 to test my Tracking device for insurance purposes. Both Mrs Kagiso Dishwama and Mr Steven Ramashua from Mix Telematics informed me that the Tracking divice for my vehicle HF40XXGP is faulty and does not pick up my vehicle. Both of them promised to arrange for Mix Telematics customer care to fix my device. I am still waiting for Mix Telematics to contact me. My vehicle is currently not insured due to the faulty tracking device. I furthermore dont understand why Mix Telematics did not pick it up from their side that the Tracking device is faulty..
I paid R1 396,56 for a repair replacement of an Approach S Black golf watch on 25 July 22. Delivery was promised on 27 July 22. The item was not delivered as promised on 27 July 22. I telephonically enquired with Garmin SA on 3 Aug 22 why delivery did not take place on 27 July 22 and Thsipiso apologised and promised delivery on 5 Aug which also did not happen. On 10 Aug I personally went to Garmon SA's offices in Rosebank where Mornè apologised and promised delivery on 12 Aug 22. Sadly nothing was delivered on 12 Aug 22. I honestly dont know what else I can do to expedite delivery. Garmin SA simply make the one promise after the other and dont deliver. Refer Garmin SA reference number 139219
I had to travel to Mauritius at short notice. My Travel Agent took out Travel insurance through Hollard on 5 July 22 for travelling to Mauritius the following day on 6 July. On receipt of the Hollard Policy I noticed that the policy indicates that I will not be covered for Covid 19 due to my age. I immediately cancelled the Hollard insurance on 5 July and arranged alternative insurance through TIC (Travel Insurance Consultants) who offered me full coverage at my age. Hollard refuses to refund me for the cancelled policy. They do not respond to my repeated e-mail requests for a refund over an extended period of time.
