They are ******. When you upgrade a contract they won’t tell you about the actual penalties you will incur in the form of admin fees and whatnots, which are unreasonably high. I’ve been charged over R700 in admin fees for merely upgrading a contract. I’m cancelling MTN. Also, their customer service agents don’t have any customer service at all - I spoke to two agents, one at the MTN store where I took the deal and another one from MTN customer care line 135, both of them are concerned with arguing why they are right and why I am wrong and in the end they present you with a take-it or leave-it decision and that you this is how things work. They have no solution-oriented approach to customer queries.
They damaged my rear bumper when towing my car from the scene of an accident. On top of that their director of operations is very arrogant and has absolutely zero customer service, he won’t even try. One day they will learn that there’s no business without customers, and they will also know the power of bad reviews and bad publicity.
You won’t have your car back anytime soon, they take too long to finish repairs and even after they are done you will have to settle for ‘good enough work’ because you will clearly see visible faults in their work. I have been to their premises and workshop, they are working on hundreds of vehicles at any given time, I think this is why they don’t deliver absolute quality and timeously
No communication at all after you book in the vehicle with them - I had to spend money going to them just to get simple one sentence progress updates. Their workers also ***** stuff from clients vehicles, even petty small personal items that you leave in the car - I had pepper spray and an air refresher spray, they stole these, and when I asked who took my stuff I was told that I should never have left any items in my car. Who knows if they also ***** our car parts. Don’t leave anything in your car, and I mean anything.
They are really flexible and willing to hear out their clients and also make any necessary adjustments in favour of their clients
They’re very considerate towards their clients
Excellent service and they are considerate financially when it comes to premiums and excess amounts. My excess amount was reduced by R3000 with only R30 increase in my premium!
