Stay with us in cape town are *****ing customers money
These people are lying about availability, take people's money and don't care after. I made a booking through booking,com my money was deducted and they had no available rooms. They are situated in cape town South Africa. Watch out they will leave you stranded with no worries and you have no where to go. Jacobus du Plessis

Don't book through booking.com they are lying on there website about places
I am furious , and they don't care. They took my money from my account and after that I got a message from the guesthouse that there is no rooms available. I phoned booking.com and the representative said he will get back with alternative arrangements and he will contact the finance department to have a refund or help with alternative arrangements. I waited and waited, I phoned back to hear that my refund will take 7-12 days. It's bull , I used almost all my money to make this booking and now don't have enough to make another booking cause they already deducted it from my bank account and I have to wait. How do do these companies just get away with it. My boyfriend think I **** to him I did not make a booking so we can spend our first day of the new year together. Booking.com says I have to wait for 7-12 days for a refund. I am desperate to give my partner a good time cause he is not well and had a tough year. I worked hard to treat him for new year. Booking.com took my money now I don't have enough for another place to stay. Why do these people get away with lying and the customer has to suffer. Jacobus du plessis

Uber ****
I am angry that I always have to be in the wrong. When I order Uber it gives an amount and according to that I accept. The last trips has been such a surprise when payment came and it was double. This morning the price quoted was 58rand, but when the payment was deducted it was 111.00 rand. Who is protecting the riders against ******ion like this. Jacobus du plessis

Good better Best
I previously wrote on how disappointed I am and saddened by my ex workplace. Cape Gate medi clinic. They have contacted me and offered me time to explain to them. We made an appointment on today 14:00. I was unfortunately not able to make it. Thanks for responding I appreciate it Jacobus Du Plessis

Ex employer sadness
Good day. I am so disappointed by my previous employer for sending messages that does not correspond with reality. I resigned on 15 august from Cape Gate mediclinic. I was happy with the exit interview and love the company but mostly my job as an ICU nurse. On resignation I was told that it will take 6-8 weeks for the payout of my pension from Alex Forbes. Now I learned it will take another 6-8 weeks. They informed me via WhatsApp on the 19th of October they send it to a Forbes and payout on the 30th October. This was done via askhr. My reason for resignation was to go pray I'm Egypt at the monastery of St Anthony and hike back to South Africa ( hopefully volunteer in refugee camp in Sudan or Uganda. Now however I am going to loose half my plane ticket cause I have to wait till end of October. ( Sure then it will be another issue) . I was also given a payslip that reflected an amount but ±2000 less was deducted. I was informed that I was short of hours that's why but why did it not say so on my payslip. I am sad, we work hard daily as nurses but then we get slapped in the face where it feels like mediclinic wants to punish you for resigning. I speak here for myself but alot of people that resigned was told about hours short etc. This will probably not change a thing but I just wish they could appreciate the times we have to overwork( working with 3-4 patients at a time in ICU, don't complain just smile and carry on. Good idea but what does it help
I love your idea and thank you for trying to help the public voicing our frustrations. But I have to say that when it comes to companies like SARS not even hellopeter can help. No one can stand up to them, they are not interested in giving feedback or respond to our complaints. I realize this is only a review page but my and many other tax payers' frustrations are still being ignored

Wake up SARS
I am also owed a refund like many of the reviews. I have also submitted the same documents 3 times. And I also get no response from SARS. I also agree this is not acceptable. It makes me sad because there is nothing we as the public can do. We have to eat it up. If we owe them money they will put you in the street or deduct from your payslip etc. On the 6th my statement of account showed electronic payment, later the same day it showed electronic payment reversal. What is next I wonder, as I had to submit the same documents, and another 21days. We can all say we are fed up with this but can we really do something about it.

About SARS. 3 months down the line, multiple phone calls (49) and no response. It feels like I am not considered a "worthy citizen". Even haven payed my taxes. As a nurse during COVID when the country stool still and very few sectors paid taxes I paid taxes. I was a front line worker in the medical field, in ICU to be precise. Putting my family in dangerous but still woke up and went to work paying taxes. Now SARS is quiet regarding my 52000 refund due to me. It says there is no turn around time for this. The first original response was it will be 21 working days......still waiting .....been 69 working days. They are not giving reason for that. Instead it says there is no turn around time. S

Corruption in SARS
My name is JN du plessis, I am due for a large refund from SARS. My tax no 1959586147, I'd no 7512115053081. But now it would pay out because of having to fix something manually on a 2005 return. There answer is it usually takes very long. My conclusion is that I will never hand a tax return in again because if I am due a refund they will not pay it out because of the 2005 tax year. If one owes them money they just take it on your payslip and very quickly. I am a nurse, worked the whole time during COVID and paid my taxes where the rest of the country was at a standstill and couldn't pay taxes. I went to work putting my family at risk but did it to help people get better so that they can return and start paying taxes too. Not just the hand full of nurses. This refund is long overdue, and I though SARS is one of the last government departments that stays not influenced by corruption, but I was clearly wrong. Please SARS, pay me my refund. My husband and I are busy with the adoption process. We need this to be able to continue. It is at a standstill now. Please I beg you have a heart. Jacobus du plessis 7512115053081
