Good day I recently lodged a complaint regarding a credit card matter in which FNB listed the full outstanding amount as the monthly instalment as opposed to agreed amount of R1000 per month, as per the arrangement with their attorneys - Symington De Kok Attorneys. This morning I received feedback from Personal and Private Service Recovery (PPSR) that said "The credit card account due to area status is managed by the Bank's external attorneys Symington De Kok, who can be reached on 051 505 6600 for all account enquiries and payment arrangements" This is not the response I was expecting because in my previous correspondence with Symington De Kok Attorneys, I was told that FNB (their client) instructed them to list the full outstanding amount on ITC until the account is paid up. Despite the arrangement that is being honored consistently, the adverse listing continues to tarnish my name and reputation and is negatively affecting my affordability assessment done by potential lenders. What FNB is doing is contrary to the manner in which HP Attorneys (their previous attorneys) handled the matter, as they agreed to list the agreed instalment of R600 at the time. I am now at the point where I am even considering lodging a complaint with National Consumer Tribunal for assistance in this matter.
Good day I filed a case with Law For All with reference number C3149-9-2022 where I requested assistance with obtaining a settlement letter from a creditor that happens to be a Chines business. The debt is listed on ITC even though it was settled and subsequently the lender closed down the office. I managed to trace down their contact details which I submitted to Law For All together with proof of payment. The case has been dragging since September 2022. All that they are doing is introducing new lawyers every time to the case without reaching a conclusion. When I took out the legal plan I was promised a high level service that turned out to be a disaster. I am really not happy with the way they are doing business with me, as there is another case that I filed with them which is also dragging. The question is if the attorneys are failing with minor cases such as obtaining a settlement letter then how are they going to represent me in court when I have a serious court case.
I graduated in BCom Honours through Unisa on 11th of May this year. Image factor was appointed to take photos during the graduation ceremony, which I paid for on invoice number 81111. They promised to send photos by email in 45 working days following the ceremony. Up to date I still have not received my photos. When I called them trying to follow up they were so rude to me. I then followed up by email and on the 3rd time they told me that photos for Unisa East London were already distributed. They requested a copy of the invoice which I sent by email. I am so annoyed with the poor service and the treatment that I am receiving from these people.
