I have given these ****mers a second chance after they said they would amend my account after sending me a bill three times as much as it should be. Just a few weeks later, I get harassed again about a random overdue amount, I don't even spend on the account anymore because the system is so messed up that I can't even update my number without their broken system that can't do it. So then I decided to just breath and overpay what I actually owe and now I am being harassed AGAIN 2 weeks later for more money! Where is my money even going?? I don't use my edgars account, yet i pay a fortune on it every month and get harassed on random dates. Two phonecalls this morning at 8 am for money I don't owe... what on earth is happening and why is nothing being done about RCS. My chances to RCS is done. To anyone even considering an account that has anything to do with RCS, avoid it at all costs. Your monthly fees will become excessive for no reason, they will harass you with phonecalls and texts, absolutely ruthless. Ps, to RCS, your number is blocked on truecaller.. let someone who knows how to do at least basic second grade math fix my account, I don't want to hear excuses on calls.
I over-pay my account monthly, make no purchases on my account for Edgars, and yet still somehow I get illiterate customer service. Harassed by RCS and the staff they employ can't even speak on a phone. Tired of ****mers. Btw. my monthly payment went from me over-paying every month to suddenly 5 times my normal monthly payment without me even making purchases with the account. I have a person who clearly can't do basic grade 1 math trying to argue with me about a magical number that appeared on my statement.
I am so disappointed in PayPal, as well as their customer service. PayPal requested ANOTHER verification, which I don't necessarily mind, even though I have used their platform for years now. But then I was promised it would take 72 hours max. It has now been almost 5 days and still nothing other than an incredibly unprofessional customer support agent on their platform. I will certainly be moving over to another platform within the next month and I will be sure to make it known of my experience to all my future clients WITH the reason of why I no longer use the platform and recommend others not to either.
The last 2 or 3 times we had gone to buy vegetable from Grass Roof we had such bad quality produce. The vegetable had already gone off and the potatoes were so soft within a day. I had to throw them away after getting sick from what could only be the potatoes as I had nothing other than potato and onion that morning. The brinjals were hollow and soft and in the fridge there were moldy vegetables in packaging that I don't know how long it had been there. The one thing I can excuse was when there were spiders in the spring onion the first time I bought vegetables from there, nature is nature, however, if I spend money at a shop instead of growing my own I expect hygiene and fresh good to be a top priority. And it is not. My sister was told messaged and told that the purposefully make the WI-FI slow at the restaurant and it was told to her kind message with sarcasm and unprofessionalism. She is kind enough to excuse their incredibly slow service that I, and many others have previously experienced to work there and order drinks and food during the time she spends there working and was responded to with the typical response we can now expect from them which is pure unprofessionalism and immaturity. The produce situation can be easily resolved but unfortunately it seems that the attitude that the person has who responds to reviews and social messages for them is not fit for the duty and lacks customer service skills in every way. They are going to affect the business terribly and it would be horrible for the owner to have to pick up pieces of some unprofessional employee with a serious attitude problem.

I was signed up under false pretenses, **** to and now I am not receiving a response to the emails I have sent to the address I was told is the one I need to contact for the cancelation fee to be wavered. I signed up on the 24th of November 2023 with a black Friday deal. I was told that I would get my January and February 2024 months free which I did not. Not only that, they increased my fee after only 1 month after joining from R370 to R400 without telling me there will be an increase within a month. The website still shows R370 and I haven't been with Virgin Active for a year so an annual increase is not an excuse. If I'm ever told annual increase it means ANNUAL which means year, not month. There's more... Lorraine Virgin Active in Port Elizabeth, where I joined, is not worth the price. No generators during loadshedding, weights are filthy and old, the one hairdryer they have available in the ladies locker rooms is barely in working condition. Maintenance is terrible, one of the days I went in there was no hot water and the air-conditionng was not working. I refuse to pay R400 monthly, which is unauthorized and has now been taken from my account and I am told that if I want to cancel I will need to pay R1600 and news to me now only is that I was only going to get the free months off if I went in at least 3 times by the 10th of December... when I was away. And I was NEVER told this when I signed up telephonically. I still confirmed over the phone that the amount would be 370 for December, January and February free and 370 again there after and was told that was correct. I will block the unauthorized payment and I will take this further and I will leave a review everywhere I possibly can. VA is highly ********* and I don't recommend it to anyone.
I honestly wish I could rate homechoice less than 1 star. Absolutely terrible business and should not be operating anymore. I clicked on an item and wanted to see the process and once I saw they were requesting my bank statements etc. I decided to stop and that I don't trust it of course. This is an online shop and one should not have to send personal information. That is not even my problem with the place, next thing I get a call from their delivery person telling me he is at an old address of mine which I have NO idea how they know as I specifically did not enter anything on the homechoice account so how it is there I do not know. Thereafter I have the delivery person saying to me he only delivers in that suburb so I must go fetch the parcel (I do not want) from him. Of course then I call customer service to hear what on earth is going on and why I am being forced to take a parcel I never finalized and wasn't planning on either. The person was rude and obviously did not care and just asked for my new address so they can drop the parcel I don't want. Since I am not a doornail I knew that giving in to the harassment I would end up with a parcel I don't want and having to pay for it so I refused to accept it. Now I not only do I get reminded to pay a bill that I don't know which thumb they sucked it out of, but I am being phoned, texted and emailed every single day by different numbers and email addresses, I keep blocking but it doesn't stop. I am shocked that with reference to the POPI act alone NOTHING is being done and this is completely unacceptable and this place must be closed down. I am not the only person who has had horrific experiences with this company, I went onto their social media to leave a terrible review, all to find out mine was just a needle in the hay stack of complaints.
