Africology - Skin Care
I came across these products by chance. Left my face care products at home when I went to a game lodge in Madikwe. I bought what the gift shop had to offer. A travel kit - Essential Facial Collection It was all they had. But …. WOW - the Gel Cleansing wash, the toner, moisturizer & lip moisturizer were just amazing. That little kit I used for a few days, changed everything. I use nothing else but Afrucology products now!! Try it. It will change your mind!

Fourways Veterinary Hospital
I’m once again very appreciative and highly recommend Fourways Veterinary Hospital & specialist referral centre. My Dog is a Husky x Swiss Shepherd who was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease 18 months ago by Dr Estée van Zyl. He was given a treatment plan and did well. As his is an auto immune disease, he unfortunately deteriorated with other issues. It was a difficult one to diagnose but after a week of intensive care and the diagnostic skills of Estée and the team my boy was diagnosed with Genetic Meningitis, rare, but which showed itself due to his low immunity. Takoda is now on treatment going forward and is happy to be home. I’m really grateful to everyone there from the reception staff, all the nursing staff, especially Carla, Natasha & Frans who went the extra mile for us. And Thank you to amazing Dr van Zyl, her specialist team, Dr Styles who first admitted my boy. Last but not least the whole Kennel assistant team. Thank you all.

Mobile Dog grooming
We’ve used the services of Doggy Do’s for our dogs for many years. Ingrid the owner is amazing and is always happy to keep her customers happy. The groomers are lovely. I have a Husky and a Hysky x Swiss Shepherd who always need de-shedding and they’re really good with that. Then I have 2 little princesses. My mini Yorkies who are always trimmed beautifully. Papachinos Fourways
My partner and I went with ou 4 year old grandson to Papachinos in The Wedge, next to Fourways Vet, for brunch on Sunday. It’s perfect for families, especially people with young children. The playground areas are well thought out and safe. One can sit at a table and enjoy a meal whilst you’re little person is having fun with new friends. There are helpers there too, to keep their eye on little adventure seekers 😉 There is a children’s pizza making area, where the little ones can ‘make’ their own pizzas with guidance. The food is good as always. I had the French toast with bacon which was delicious. My partner had a typical breakfast, and our little man made his own pizza, which too was delicious. The staff were polite, service was good and management were always keeping an eye out. A good experience in all. Recommended

Isivande Fish and Koi Ponds
Our koi fish pond pump just stopped working on the Saturday of the Easter Weekend. I called this company early Monday, as by now I was really worried about my fish. I was very grateful that my pond could be sorted out within a few hours. I spoke to Nardus who is the owner of the company. He came out within a few hours ready for whatever the problem was. He even had a new pump on hand. I am so impressed and happy with the friendly, professional service, from people who know well what they’re doing! And are ready available when they’re needed. Pomodoro Restaurant
Lovely decor. Friendly efficient staff. 😊 The food was amazing. My fiancé had the chicken with creamed truffle and mushroom sauce with chips. ⭐️ I had the sole with crushed roast potatoes 👌🏻 and spinach. Very very tasty and perfectly cooked. The dessert was an almond and honey tart which was just so good on the palate. First time here but highly recommend you try it.

Stain glass portrait of my horse
I saw Leigh’s work posted on a WhatsApp group. I commissioned her to do a piece for me of my beautiful horse Appolo. Well, it was delivered today. It is beautiful beyond words. I love it. It is a large stain glass ‘portrait’ done stunningly. I could not recommend Leigh and her studio highly enough. ❤️
