Good day Papachinos Management, I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding my experience at Papachinos Fourways on [27/04/2026]. I visited the restaurant based on a referral promoting the 50% pizza and pasta special, and upon arrival, the promotional pamphlet was clearly placed on our table. My friend and I ordered pizzas under the reasonable assumption that the promotion app****. At no point before ordering were we informed that the special does not apply on public holidays. This information was only raised when we requested the bill, which I believe constitutes misleading advertising and poor disclosure. When I queried this, I requested to speak to the manager. The manager on duty responded in an extremely unprofessional and unacceptable manner. He stated that: There was “nothing that could be done” He would not waste his time “entertaining” us We should either pay or leave without paying and “he would sort it out” I was “taking chances” and that I “have money issues” I could not afford to eat at the restaurant We were told never to return to Papachinos These remarks were demeaning, humiliating, and discriminatory, and I felt judged based on factors unrelated to the situation at hand. This was my first visit to your establishment, and I was deeply disturbed by how I was spoken to. Furthermore, as we were leaving, the same manager took a photograph of the car we were driving. No explanation was provided. This action left me feeling unsafe and intimidated, and I am extremely concerned about his intentions. Despite this hostile experience, we paid the full bill of R1035 to avoid further confrontation. To be clear: I had no issue paying for my meal My concern was the lack of transparency regarding the promotion The treatment we received was completely unjustified and unacceptable I hereby formally request: A written apology from the manager involved A formal investigation into his conduct Clarification on why an employee felt justified in photographing my vehicle Assurance that no customer will be treated in this manner going forward If this matter is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily, I will be forced to escalate this complaint further through consumer protection channels. I trust that Papachinos will take this complaint seriously and uphold the standards of professionalism and respect expected from a well‑established restaurant group. I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Papachinos in Boksburg. I’ve always enjoyed bringing my daughter here, which is why I decided to bring my whole family this time—but this experience was unacceptable. The food was okay, but definitely not up to the usual standard I’m used to. However, the real issue started when I paid the bill. I didn’t check it at first because I’ve never had problems here before. As I was leaving, the waiter stopped me and said he had given me the wrong bill. I trusted him, paid the “corrected” amount, and left. When I got home, my mom checked the bill, only to discover that it was STILL incorrect—and this time I had actually been overcharged. I immediately called the restaurant, and they admitted it was yet another mistake and promised to refund me. It’s now day 3, and I still have not received my money. This raises serious concerns: How does a customer get given TWO incorrect bills in one visit? Is this happening to other customers without them realizing? Have I possibly been overcharged in the past without noticing? It’s not even about the amount anymore—it’s about trust. This is money I worked hard for, and the lack of urgency in fixing this issue is very disappointing. Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Went to Papachinos in Sunward Park to celebrate my daughters' BSc graduation. The place was so noisy and frankly uncivilized, that we opted to dine outside. Table was dirty and outside lighting so poir, we used our phones to peruse the menu. Waiter never introduced himself, neither shared specials or specialities with the table. Drinks and food order was accurate, but food did not arrive all at once, my basic burger took longest?? The previous high standards of this establishment have obviously been lowered to accomodate their prefered clientelle. Prospective diners, I urge you to be aware and I strongly suggest alternatives for peaceful, enjoyable, family dining.

I recently visited Papachinos for a takeaway. On a previous occasion, my order was incorrect, and although I only realised once I got home, a manager assured me that the matter would be resolved on my next visit.Today, I returned and explained the situation. The manager handled it promptly and professionally, correcting the mistake without hesitation. She was polite and welcoming, and kindly added complimentary biscuits in celebration of my birthday.I sincerely appreciate the excellent customer service and the effort made to resolve the issue.

I recently visited Papachinos for a takeaway. On a previous occasion, my order was incorrect, and although I only realised once I got home, a manager assured me that the matter would be resolved on my next visit.Today, I returned and explained the situation. The manager handled it promptly and professionally, correcting the mistake without hesitation. She was polite and welcoming, and kindly added complimentary biscuits in celebration of my birthday.I sincerely appreciate the excellent customer service and the effort made to resolve the issue.

I received a very poor service in Boksburg Sunward today, the waiter gave us bad attitude and cold shoulder to everything was requesting. Cappuccino did not come with biscuits, no serviettes Cappuccino was cold bacon was dry, the waiter did not to give us the special menu, was at the restaurant for more than 20 minutes without being attended. Forgot to give slices that I requested 🙃 🙃🙃. Took forever for everything had to leave early because of service.
