Customer Experience Alert: Courier IT – A Case of False Advertising and **************!!!
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the shocking lack of service, incompetence, and *****ulent actions by Vodacom’s customer support teams, after-sales department, and courier partner, Skynet. On 7 December 2024, I initiated a new contract for my mother (who was and still should be on prepaid) under the Red Plan for a Samsung S24FE at R599 per month, as part of an online promotion (Vodacom Order Number: K4632253). However, despite Vodacom’s promises, Skynet never delivered the device. After countless frustrating calls to Vodacom and Skynet—with no resolution—I contacted Vodacom Aftersales on 13 December 2024 and explicitly instructed them to cancel the entire order and ensure my mother’s number remained prepaid. A Vodacom aftersales representative confirmed that: The order and contract would be cancelled. A request would be sent to Skynet to return the device. However, today, 31 January 2025—one and a half months later—I received an SMS stating that my order was delivered on 4 February 2025 (a future date) and that the SIM would be activated within 24 hours. This is blatant *****: I never received any device from Skynet. There is no proof of delivery, no signature, no copy of my ID, and no proof of address submitted. How is it possible that Vodacom confirms delivery on a date that has not yet occurred (4 February 2025), when today is only 31 January 2025? I never authorized Vodacom to reinstate the contract after cancelling it on 13 December 2024. Today, I contacted Vodacom Aftersales again and spoke to Patience, who stated that the issue would be escalated and that she would provide feedback by the end of today. Unsurprisingly, I have not received any follow-up communication from her. During our call, she confirmed that the device was returned to Vodacom’s warehouse but failed to send me the requested email confirmation. She also displayed a reluctance to ensure the contract was fully cancelled, instead telling me that if Vodacom incorrectly debits my account, I should call in and request a refund. This is completely unacceptable. Immediate Action Required: Immediate confirmation that the contract is permanently cancelled. Immediate confirmation that my mother’s number remains on prepaid. Immediate confirmation that there will be no unauthorized deductions from my account. A written statement explaining how Vodacom could falsely claim delivery on 4 February 2025 when today is still 31 January 2025. Accountability for Vodacom’s clear failure to provide service and its *****ulent actions in reactivating a cancelled contract. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will have no choice but to take further action, including: Laying ***** charges against Vodacom. Filing a formal complaint with ICASA and relevant consumer protection bodies. Taking this matter to social media and news outlets to expose Vodacom’s ********* business practices. I expect an urgent resolution by close of business today (31 January 2025). Failure to act promptly will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter further. Awaiting your immediate response.
On the 29 September 2024, I bought a dog ramp that was suppose to be "non-slip"....when the item was delivered on 1 October 2024 it was not "non-slip", as all my dogs slide backwards and couldn't walk up the ramp and didn't like it...thank u for falls adverti*****t Takealot..I logged a return and refund on 6 Oct & Takealot collected on 7 Oct. A week later on 14 Oct, Takealot returned the item back to me via couriers without any communication or call and still no refund. I refuse to accept the returned item from the couriers and the couriers left with the item. I've phone the call centre that Monday afternoon and the useless call centre guy said he willl send the query to investigate and I will be contacted....it is now another week & still I haven't received feedback or my refund.WHAT IS HAPPEN ? This is steeling and I am going open a police case! And I WILL NEVER MAKE USE OR BUY ANYTHING FROM TAKEALOT every again!! They the service and their staff is getting useless by the day and try any excuse or delay not to refund me, of which I am in my full right to return the item if I change my mind within the guaranteed period and to request a refund in terms of the provisions in the CPA... Takealot is non-compliance with the CPA and they are willfully doing so without care to customer.
It is now the 5th time logging this query and nobody from Takealot has come back. I've placed and paid for my order on the 21 June 2024 for 13 items. When my order was delivered on Saturday 22 June 2024, 1 of the items was missing and was not included in any of the boxes of my whole order that was delivered. I am missing the following item from my order: Maybelline Fit Me Powder - 120 Classic Ivory Qty: 1 - R 165. To contact Takealot for my missing item is useless, as they said further communication will be done via email....until now...nobody from takealot contacted me via email or telephone to advise what is happening to the item that Takealot never delivered, which I've paid for and now did not receive......THIS IS *****ING
I was supposed to get my order delivered to me on the latest last Friday 10 May 2024 for the order I've placed on Sunday the 5th May 2024. I never received my order and on your website it stated that the delivery takes 2 - 5 wording days. My order is taking more than 2-5 working days, and my order is for my mom she was supposed to get on Mother's day. You guys are contradicting and breaching your own policy. From Thursday till Sunday, the status of my parcel still reflected "Still to be collected....." When I phoned Courier Guys on Sunday, they come up with bull**** lies that it was collected...then they say it was collected on Thursday late... and then later say ooh it was only collected Friday.... SOOO WHAT IS IT???? DO THEY EVEN KNOW???! I phoned the again and now they say that there was an issue with the collecting of the parcel from Nomination and that they will call be back to advise further.....I am still waiting for their call.... SO WHAT IS HAPPEN WITH MY ORDER?????.... AND WHY WAS IT NOT DELIVERED TO ME ON FRIDAY...IT IS NOT MY JOB TO MAKE SURE THAT THE COURIER PICK THE PARCEL UP IN TIME AND THAT THEY DO PICK IT UP AND DELIVER IN TIME...IT YOUR JOB, SEEING THAT NOMINATION IS PROVIDING THIS ONLINE SERVICE.....PLEASE SORT OUT MY ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried phoning the Online & Support number the whole morning, it is just ringing, and nobody is picking up....so much for having a phone number........ This if the most pathetic service I've received from Nomination SA online. They got no care or customer service for their customers and making sure their customers gets their order....... I won't recommend people to buy from Nomination SA online - you will be left in the dark about your order.
