Dishonest Virgin Active
Signed up at Morningside gym well over a year ago, been going there on and off for quite some time. Now all of a sudden my membership was changed to Virgin Active Sandton and I’m blocked at Morningside. Phone Virgin help line only to be told that if I wish to change to Morningside my fee will go from R147 to R230.

Superb windscreen service
Incredible service wet windscreen replacement - rang me to arrange a suitable time and arrived a little before the appointed time. The service technicians were courteous and meticulous in their work. They cleaned up (car as well) before they left.

Greenmotion Car Hire - something different
Very different car hire company. Costs are great because the don’t splurge on overheads. They don’t have an office, so you need to call for someone to collect you, although their website says you will be met at airport arrivals., so that’s a bit of a downer

Belle Maroc - Overrated
Very compact place, but overrated. The rooms are tiny, hanging space leave much to be desired. The finishing on tiles etc in the bathroom is dreadful. Shower is excellent with fantastic hot water. No heating in the rooms, which in Cape Town is really poor.

Jewel in Clarens
This is a fabulous place in the eastern Free State/Golden Gate area. The lodges are very well equipped and serviced on a daily basis, in fact they are luxurious. The views are fantastic and if you’re so inclined you can try your luck in catching a trout (need to bring your own kit😊). There are beautiful wildebeest and zebra in the property and lovely paths to wander. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway and opportunity to explore Clarens and nearby towns.

Worst airline ever - CemAir!!!
Absolutely disgusting, disorganised airline. Two delays, arrived hours after scheduled time. Staff on the plane were obnoxious to say the least. Wheelchair was organised for the passenger and did not materialise- an 86 year old woman had to struggle to get on and off a bus!

Dishonest Car Dealer
I was dudded by this shady car dealer - I was sold a car that had been in a prang and they had not told. Do not trade with these people!
