I have tried calling Ram 3 times today, all that happens is I hear the automated message and then sit on hold for over 10 minutes. I have tried emailing through their online portal, no response, and have tried their WhatsApp line to chat to an agent, all I get is messages they connecting me to the next available agent, and then shortly after that I get a message that the chat has been ended because it has reached the time limit
They are a coin toss of the service us going to be efficient and easy. Twice now I have sent packages over night to Cape Town from Johannesburg and had issues. First package was stopped because one package was measured incorrectly and was R20 arrears in my account. Yet the package that caused this was delivered to me that same morning, and I had to organise someone to collect the package they stopped, that had no issues with it, at an extra cost to myself. The second package, sent over night, picked up Monday morning and no one can tell me where it is all I get is "it's still in transit" Their help line is useless, and after about half an hour to an hour you only get a response and not helpful responses. They do not care about their clients.
They constantly host events/parties while they do not have an entertainment licence. Their patrons and music are always extremely loud it drowns out our own voices in apartments not only across from them but up the street from them. They ignore any attempt at asking them to turn it down. Their events also go well past their apparent closing time listed on Google and their website. Very inconsiderate specifically since they decided to base their resturant in a residential area.
I originally signed up to use SANI car rentals, and after walking around Sandton one or the other car companies told me that SANI work our of Thrifty Car rentals. Once inside, the teller informs me that he has to now register me on the thrifty car rental page, so signing up online was absolutely pointless and did not save any time. Now upon returning the inspection agent is now telling me there's a bent rim, yet I said it does not look bent and is now trying to pass it off onto me having bent it even though there are no scratches or anything and looks the same as I took it. Worst customer service.
My flight was changed unexpectedly by the airline, resulting in my trip being cut in half. I have been in contact with the airline and they informed me that if I still need to fly on the original date booked, they can transfer my flight to another airline they have an agreement with at no extra charge. I said I would like this and they informed me that I would need to contact budgetary.com to do this for me as they had booked the flight, but it is possible. I have now been told firstly it wasn't possible. And then three times that their colleagues who are specialised in these matter will take over and contact me via email. I have not received any further assistance from budgetary.com and keep receiving the same response when talking to the client service online.
I recently started the process of buying a new car and as usual I needed to take out insurance on the car before proceeding. After continuing I decided not to buy the car and canceled the purchase, although budget insurance still tried to cover me for this car for a few months, after trying to cancel a few times I finally got through and they assured me the payment would not go through, yet it was still deducted from my account. I was able to reverse this debit order and then shortly after finally got hold of someone who was able to cancel the policy. Although now the reversed debit order has shown up as a fault on my credit score even though I never owned nor drove the car they are trying to insure me for. Ridiculous and unhelpful.
