I have a problem with how FNB Funeral plan works. I have had it for years but from Nevember 2025 they are deducting twice and claim its for 2 months even though there has been money on my bank account on the day of the debit order. November there was 2 transactions, December 2 transactions, January 2 transactions, February 2 transactions again!? and its always the same story that the other premium is for the Previous month! This is *****! I want to cancel the insurance and get my money back. i can get something better somewhere else!
I was ready to give this insurance company a 5-star rating, though I have had to call almost every day to get the process moving. I had accepted responsibility to accelerate the process as I never get updates voluntarily. However, after dealing with an aggressive agent who identified herself as Nosi Ngcobo, I’ll give a 3 star. It is frustrating losing stuff, hence we insure, to then get the process moving only when I call and be given a lecture when I am requesting an update is even worse! We all can have a bad day, but all businesses must strive to treat all its clients fairly, with respect. High-pressured environments, too, require no rudeness!
I had my car going for repairs to a repairer chosen for by budget. I struggled the whole of December 2023 to get the 2 sending each other the correct authorization letter. I cited dissatisfaction with Dube Autobody as their chosen car repairer then. We continued with them. It took thhis repairer 7 months to complete the car. in between I was communicating my frustration with Budget Insurance. on the 13th July 2024 I was called to go collect my car as they have procured a spare wheel they had lost and denied accountability for. I got there and there was no wheel. They promised to deliver it today, 15th July 2024 and they have not fulfilled their promise. I have written to budget to assist as I always do but I must still drive around with a vehicle that has no spare wheel as though I am not insured. I am really not happy with the experience I have had having Budget Insurance as my car insurance. I have also been pushing for recovery of my access and I am told there is no tangible turn around time. Imagine being without your car for 7 months and you still must wait an indefinite period for recovery of access fee. :(
So I cancelled my car insurance with Iwyze in June. They sent a cancellation letter. Today they debited be twice different amounts. They did not debit in July, in August, in September and in October! But today they were like F* it. We stilling from him! How nice?
Standard Bank homeloans department is the worst. It's been frustrating getting one missed payment of 2022 October cleared whilst all the subsequent payment were and continue being debited. We found out about this when we wanted to apply to borrow from our existing bond. We were advised to write an application letter for restructuring payment to mitigate the missed payment. A lady called Kanyi called my brother as he is the principal applicant in our bond. The lady could not finalize the application and when my brother asked for reference number for the call to escalate the matter, that lady told him the reference number for the call was Khanyi. And when he asked for her full names she was adamant that the reference she's given him would suffice. We have always been asking standard bank to close the arrears as the bank continues to debit for the home loan without fail, however we are still dealing with Taz-Lyn Mohammed who also is not responding to this application. He requested to be called and when called he was not available. An email was sent but instead he requests a call. All the necessary documents were sent to Zandile, with a DCCrestructures email on August 16 20223. This is really frustrating, especially when one is a compliant client.
Excellent service by Abdullah Matola at O. R TAMBO INT. Airport. He stayed with us until our issue with activating an eTag was sorted. Brilliant guy! Works efficiently.
