There is a hamper I received from Continental Brands on Monday, 05 February 2024. This hamper contained a wide range of biscuits. To name but a few: 1. De Vries Choice Assortment. 2. De Vries Chocolate Double Velvet. 3. De Vries ****** & Lemon Biscuits. 4. De Vries Shortbread. 5. De Vries Choco Rings Biscuits. 6. Tasty Treats Wheaton's Wholewheat Crackers. 7. Tasty Treats Wheaton's Multigrain Crackers. 8. Tasty Treats Snactive Multigrain Crispbread. 9. Tasty Treats Krit Bacon Flavoured Crackers. 10. Tasty Treats Bites Sweet Chilli & Tomato Flavoured Snack Biscuits. I must say, I was introduced to quite a wide delectable range of biscuits. I made two orders ever since this year 2024 started. The first order for seven items was made on Friday, 26 January 2024, and it was delivered on Wednesday, 07 February 2024. The second order for five items was made on Wednesday, 14 February 2024, and it was delivered on Friday, 23 February 2024. The first order was fine, and the seven items were in order. However, there was a problem with the second order because two items of the five were not in order. One item was the wrong one, and the other item was of inferior quality. Therefore, those two items were returned. My Takealot account, however, was not properly return credited for one item. It was credited with R338,00 instead of R388,00. A Takealot agent who called me on the phone regarding my query on this matter failed to assist me, and they could not let me speak to someone in management. My impression of the company from this experience alone was obliterated. The level of customer service I received on this matter is contemptibly objectionable. Furthermore, the Takealot agent seemed not to aspire for customer satisfaction, but fullness in their own confidence of what they wanted to present. Hence, I told the Takealot agent that, unless they treat customers with respect and take them seriously, they are going to lose customers, and thus similarly lose business. They were most sensibly warned.

They failed to assist me, and they could not let me speak to someone in management. My impression of the company from this experience alone is very poor, and I am extremely disappointed. The customer service in as far as queries and credit returns are concerned, is very lamentable and objectionable. Other than the lack of capacity of resolving this particular query, the Takealot agent could not aspire for customer satisfaction, but solely re**** in their confidence of what they wanted to present. Hence, I told the Takealot agent that, unless they treat customers with respect and take them seriously, they are going to lose customers, and they going to lose business. They were most sensibly warned.
So far, I have had a pleasant customer service experience... most particularly, during the times whereby items were returned and a refund had to be processed. I have always received the service I needed, with convenience.
