I have been trying to close my bank account with Discovery for over a year, which has not been done. I am never given a direct answer, and no one seems to be able to tell me why. I have spent hours on the phone, following up on why it has not been done and always promised a phone call back which never happens. Despite my request, Discovery continues to charge me monthly fees. Absolute useless service and *****.
DO NOT INSURE YOUR MOBILE PHONE WITH FINRITE. I have fully comprehensive insurance with Finrite. I pay over R200 per month. My phone packed up - needless to say - they rejected paying out. Breach of contract. I am insured for all type of damage. I have repeatedly asked for a copy of my insurance policy, they simply ignore all requests. They are unethical and nothing more than crooks. Look elsewhere for insurance.
I ordered and paid for a copy of my academic record through this service provider. The student number on the record was incorrect and they are taking no responsibility whatsoever for this error, blaming the University for the error and doing absolutely nothing to attempt to rectify other than sending ONE email. You pay this service provider yet they refuse to refund you for their mistakes. I needed this record for a job application which application closed 31 August. Its been 13 days and I STILL havent received the amended record. Thanks to Purq I missed this job opportunity. They also couldnt be bothered to reply to emails.
Please do not buy anything from this company. I believe it to be a scam. I paid for a product in April 2017, its now November 2017 - still no item or refund, despite my continuous email follow up. BE CAUTIOUS - THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!
<p>I recently tried returning items of clothing which I didnt have a receipt for. The items had not been worn & the lables all in tact. I was told at the counter that these items were "high price items" & they wouldnt accept returns unless I had a receipt. I told them to use my Woolworths card to look the items up to which they said they couldnt. I contacted the head office to which they havent bother responding. Be mindful of when purchasing "high priced items" - i have never heard of such nonsense in all my life.</p>
<p>I would like to caution all customers purchasing products from this hair & beauty salon in Greenpoint, Cape Town. Without going into too much details, I purchased a product that was stale. It caused an allergic reaction and despite my attempts to get the product replaced or refunded, the individual dealing with this matter refused initially then promised a refund - 3 weeks later and no refund. There are so many salons in and around this area, that have a fabulous afte sales service and would never treat customers as these arrogant people have.</p>
<p>I used this company to transport my vehicle from Jhb to Cape Town. 20 days from the date my car was collected in Jhb, it had still not arrived in Cape Town. Every single day the owner had another excuse as to why it had not arrived. He was rude and told me to F^%& off when I told him i was going to report it as stolen. I eventually got the police involved and had my vehicle removed off their UNROADWORTHY truck. Do NOT use this company for anything. Please also look on Facebook for other reported incidents. The owner Martin Grimes also operates under the alias Ian Smith. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.</p>
<p>I ordered the Twisp. It arrived 2 days after the promised date. The device i received was faulty. It was oozing oil and "popping". I contacted Twisp immediately and told them I wasnt happy with the product and wanted my money back. They refused. They didnt even take the time to ask what it was that i was unhappy with. If you are considering buying a twisp... rather look at other competing products which im sure will have a much better after sales service and actually genuinely care if a client is unhappy.</p>
