The folks here must have been tired cause they couldn't get a basic order right. Delivered incorrect item Disagree with me and ask for proof Request return of item that I ordered (which I never received) Told they will decide what to do when they evaluate the returned item (which was unopened) - so wait 3 to 5 days I asked to actually get what I ordered I've been waiting a month and still dont have what I ordered Absolute silence from TakeAlot
Delivered incorrect item. Long story to return. Return completed week ago and now silence. Where is what I actually ordered, I wonder? They just don't care.

Most channels just don't work. App can't login. csonline is offline. Call centre sends you through ivr hell to get to a person. They pretend they can't hear you and give you standard answers of "pick a number" you're just a number. "We urgent to submit meet readings on the email" but it fails via all channels.
Every so often I find my SIM is denied access to the RAIN network. This happens on months when I have been very reliant on it. Look like 4G unlimited is not unlimited. In winbox I can literally see the available band I normally connect to but status shows denied. Trying to get any support at all (telephonic, app, web, email) fails on deaf ears and zero communication is how I've been treated

Great product when it works. Logging a support call howver says "We have received your ticket. An agent will get back to you as soon as possible" BUT They never do. Things eventually work again and no feedback is provided. Even when you ask a specific question needed to access the service.
I was duly impressed with the fact that I got a call from an agent after repeatedly experiencing a "Technical Error" on the online shop. This was the 28th Nov 2021. The agent proceeded to assist me in a very positive engagement and assured me that the "stock" would be arriving soon and I would have it the following week Tuesday (7 Dec) and that he would keep my updated if anything changes.... that came and went without any comms whatsoever. Then the nightmare began of calling to follow up... First my order was supposedly processed on the incorrect contract type ("Open line") and needed to be "Re-done"; After protesting that this might mean a longer wait (further back in the "back order") I was assured that was not the case, and so the new order was created and the "old" one cancelled (9 Dec). Again, i was again assured by another agent this time that "stock" was definately arriving on 10 Dec (Another Friday) and I would most likely have it the following week Tuesday (14 Dec)... See a pattern forming; Guess what no "stock" (15 Dec)... BUT its definately coming on Friday 24th December 2021... WOW! Does Vodacom Online even sell phones? Cause they cannot seem to get one order processed online or otherwise. Next I try escalating to a manager.... since the agent assurances amounted to nothing ... and guess what they could do; Involve me in their internal processes, Take zero accountability for lies or errors from agents, offer no solution to the ordeal - And that's it.... Suck it up and wait your turn cause we don't care about anything you've experienced - after all "You only placed the order on the 9th December". BUYER BEWARE: NO updates will be provided. You will be lied to without consequence. There will be people loudly having a party in the background (with managers approval)... this all gives me FOMO; What a nice job to have.
