On the 19th of December I ordered a bacon, avo and feta pizza with extra cheese from the Northriding branch of Del Forno. The avo that was on the pizza was almost black. How the staff thought this was acceptable is beyond my understanding. As a regular customer I will no longer be wasting my money with this brand. I posted the image on their X (Twitter page) and no one reached out with an explanation or apology.
Some history first, I have 4 numbers with Vodacom and 2 have been due for upgrade for a few years now. Due to 2 of the lines being due for upgrade I am harassed by Vodacom and the sales people try to force me to change package or upgrade almost daily. I have therefore blocked a lot of Vodacom sales numbers due to this constant harassment. I have one number that I have had with Vodacom since 2002 and I have just cancelled that number. Jump ahead to last week Tuesday, there was a Black Friday deal (available until the 08/12/25) for a data contract, I was told I could upgrade my current data contract early and get the deal. Great. Done. I sit on the line with the consultant for ages, get the deal done, approve the quote and stuff and just when I think we finished he tries to push me not cancelling my other number and doing an upgrade on my current number...push push push. I say NO A short while later, he calls back and says the router that he had quoted is not in stock (X25 MAX 2 5G CPE) and offers me the Huawei H155-383 5G FWA (which is the one advertised with the deal anyway and the one i think I am getting), no problem, I approve it all AGAIN and we go our separate ways. The next day while I am leaving for work I miss a call from Vodacom, I don't think anything of it. I wait and wait and wait, no router delivery, no communication... I try send an email today to the address on my quote, it bounces back (address not found). I call in and speak to someone, the agent didn't submit the order. I get transferred to the upgrades department, ask for the manager, hold on for almost 30 minuets and get through to a guy who can't help...ahhh, we tried to call, the router isn't available, we have a different model, the price is more, lets look at your usage.... UNHELPFUL! If Vodacom does not have the Huawei H155-383 5G FWA router why is it advertise all over their website for every deal. The deal I was suppose to get was 30Mbps Line with 600GB FUP for R349 with a Huawei H155-383 5G FWA. Now they say I can have it but for R449....because the agent didn't do his job? I have had 1 missed call from Vodacom since 02/12/2025, ONE. I don't want the same deal, I approved on Quotation No: 5-36171363270002, for R100 more per month, makes no sense to me. No router for my approved deal but router for the more expensive one.... The harassment Vodacom give to get you to upgrade and then, when you actually do, they completely let you down... I would advise looking for an alternate service provider because they are just too big to care at all, even after 24 long years together.
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A55 from Incredible Connection in October 2024, and was told I needed to claim my free promotional gifts from Samsung. I submitted my claim and it was approved on 15/10/2024 (Order no. 39505100451447RNYW-R). On 23/10/2024 a waybill number with SkyNet was created and exactly 3 months later I have still not received the promised Buds. I have been contacting Samsung Promotions, Samsung Tell Us, Twitter / X and SkyNet. I have held on the line at Samsung Promotions over 40 minutes sometimes , per call (and there have been MANY calls), I have emailed so many times! and after 3 months I still cannot get any joy from Samsung. They keep blaming SkyNet and SkyNet in turn keep blaming Samsung....leaving me, the consumer, frustrated, disappointed and not receiving the promised promotional items. How are companies allowed to get away with this kind of false advertising with zero repercussions? They keep "escalating" my query but we're nowhere 3 MONTHS later.... There has to be a way to protect the consumer against these false promotions advertised by these giant corporations! Samsung should be embarrassed about how they conduct themselves. Trying to get services moved and things explained to me that I don't understand has been an absolute nightmare. The communication and response from Brighton and some others at Vox is non-existent. I actually cannot believe this company is still in business with the way they deal with clients. I have been struggling for over 3 months now and Brighton is honestly the worst employee I have every dealt with. Trying to get him to answer a question or reply on am email is the most difficult thing in the world. I would look at absolutely any other company to business with, do not waste you time with Vox Telecom
