On the 1st of December there was a hailstorm that damaged a lot of houses in Edenvale, I'm very disappointed to say this insurance we have had since 2020 is rejecting our claim that was caused by the hailstorm. On their rejection they are now including false information " On the 7th of December 2025 Terry Bastick met with the insureds daughter who resides at ** Street Gauteng. I was directed to the affected areas and advised during the last heavy storm water was dripping from the ceiling and flowing down the walls The loss occurred on the 31st of October 2025 and damage occurred in the lounge and flatlet Flatlet". This was all false information no one spoke to the inspector about any damage that happened in October because there was no damage. We had renovation done the whole house in November the dining room in question was painted and there was no damage. This damage was only caused by the hailstorm we even included pictures of what the hailstorm did to the yard, and they still rejected the claim. I will be cancelling my services with them.
The communication is confusing and they don't keep time, took my car for a service at 9 am and i had to follow up all day to only get my car at 4pm (i had to call them, no one called to tell me the car was ready). When i check on my car track app it shows they spend the day driving around with my car, I'm very disappointed, and will not be using them again. wouldn't recommend them too anyone.
For the past 2 months I'm being debited twice then i receive messages that my account is not up to date, the agent i spoke to was not even remorseful about the inconvenience this has on my account preventing other debit orders from going through. The previous agent **** and said i can get a discount when adding a scooter to my account and when i called requesting for the discount i was told there is no such thing. I'm very disappointed
Ordered food and 45 mins later I’m not receiving anything, and when I called their call centre I was told the problem is online so they will process a refund within 7day. What do they expect me to eat. I’m so disappointed
It’s been 6 days after Capitec said they’ll contact me about the investigation and no one has done so. It’s been 17 days after I was kidnapped, beaten and ******. Capitec is still keeping the money they told me was there and no one is saying anything to me.
On the 26/08/2023 I was kidnapped by 2 men in blue polo car and ****** at gun point, beaten up then dropped off in the middle of nowhere till I found the police. These ****s did 2 cash sends (R5000), bought airtime (R2000) and transferred R10000 into their bank account with my phone while beating me and took my phone with when they were done. Less than 30mins after the incident I called Capitec with the police and the agent assured me they have blocked the bank account it was transferred to and my funds are safe. It’s been a week and Capitec wont refund my money or communicate with me, I submitted all the documents they requested, an affidavit and police case number within 24 Hours when I call I get transferred to one department after the other till the agents drop my call, I don’t get a straight response on WhatsApp about my case, my emails are ignored every single day. After everything I’ve been through my bank has turned on me instead of helping and protecting me. I don’t have any money but the bank is keeping my R10 000.
My mother got me a gift of 2 perfumes and takealot delivered 1 candle, I logged a return with one of the consulted and takealot sent a refund of only one of the perfumes. I have not received communication or refund for my other perfume.
