Telkom convinced me to insure my contract phone. This was over a year ago. From May this year my phone could not charge. The guy at Telkom said it was my charger and I paid R199 for a new charger. still the same problem. My old charger worked better but the charger had to be moved around to be successful. Telkom requested I contact telkominfo@wwas.co.za. The nightmare started from 23July until the 5 August.Two weeks with requests for info. All done and still more questions with regard to change in service provider. Telkom invoice sent should have been sufficient. Very poor service! I cancelled my insurance on 5 August and demanded written proof of cancellation. Received 2 confirmations. August 6 Tshwarelo Ref 4695565 August 8 Jade Ref 4695675 On August 5 debit order went through. Another debit order went through on 5 Sept. I reversed this debit order. Today I receive 2 reminders about the insurance from Telkom. The last straw. TelkomOmart please correct your records and stop the harrassment. Valuable lesson learnt. Who said insuring your phone gives one peace of mind. Dealing with OMART taught me otherwise. A family member dealt with another company and within a week it was successfully sorted. I took my phone to a cellphone shop and got same day service! No stress.
My number 1 choice. In the last 3 years have purchased 2 incubators. High success rate. Customer care second to none. You get free courier service and speedy deliveries. Deliver country wide. Troubleshooting is rare but they are on hand to advise. Their after sales service you can rely on. This company even stocks spares.
I recently decided to withdraw from my retirement fund. From enquiry ...instructions....confirmation up to transaction complete took less than 10 days. Amazing service indeed. My husband and I both in our 60's had taken an Accidental benefit policy from 2009. Debit orders were in place too. One policy was updated but have no written proof and the broker will be of no help because of a fallout with another insurance problem. I made the mistake of not keeping the proof of renewal safe. We had moved house too around that time. SANLAM wants proof and I have none. Can you imagine our dismay to be so callously terminated. It was by pure coincidence we discovered the missing debit orders on our bank statements. Both our policies terminated with no notification from Sanlam. It is truly disappointing that Sanlam has just terminated our policies without notifying us. One policy is claim free. So Sanlam benefits. These policies have the option of renewal. Is this fair practice? Small premiums but of great importance and had kept our debit orders always in order. No unpaid premiums ever on this policy. This is the time we would most probably need this most. Sanlam had worked on my husband's policy in the last year and called personally to rate their service but omitted to inform the policy had terminated.
I bought a dog poo scooper. That mechanism never worked. The springs were the tightest. Definitely defective. Other reviews indicated it was good for dry poo only. Was still waiting for my husband to try it. He never did. Believed in the old fashioned bend and pick-up armed with a builder's sc****r and spade. It stayed forgotten for a while in my BIC until my daughter reminded me when I returned another item. Take a lot declined and said it was used. Well instead of losing my patience and wasting energy I just rep**** saying I will not be a customer anymore. That's it! There's Loot, Clicks and others and just now it will be Amazon. Their item now stands somewhere in our storage- forgotten unused in it's original condition brand new. I might have lost about R300 but saved R1000's in these last 2 months by not ordering from Take-a-lot. Must say my better half is the happiest - his visits to the gate no more for Take -a-lot deliveries!
It was an emergency claim. The consultant Curt handled our claim. Kept us informed. Gave us dates and within days all was done. That's what we term as professionalism. That's what clients look for. Service delivery at its best. Thank you Curt thank you Auto and General!
Premiums are certainly far lower than my previous insurance company. Two vehicles. Never made a claim and no rewards. This is my second month with NI. The app too is so easy to use. If the vehicle is not in use you activate the stationary cover but activate it when in use. I have actually saved a substantial amount. This is amazing. In this economic tough times NI a consumer friendly company has certainly proven its worth! So far excellent...watch this space in the event of a claim....
Incredible but true. Far from the long drawn out consultations. Big savings on premiums and if your vehicle is not used for those days premiums are halved! How cool is that!!! Only claims if submitted will prove Naked Insure's metal.
