I did some blood work on the 2nd of June 2025. On the 11 August I received an sms saying that I owe them money. I checked the claim and discovered they charged me twice for one of the tests and of course my medical aid rejected the one duplicate. I emailed them on the 11 August and to date still no response. Their contact numbers do not work. Today again I received an sms to pay. UPL team please rectify your error and get back to me.
I usually use my Clicks App to pay my bills and pre-paid wifi. Yesterday I paid my wifi and the transaction was approved and the funds deducted from my account. I then received an email from Clicks saying there was an error with the transaction. I just called them because I didn't hear anything from them and was advised an investigation can take 48 hours. This is not very good customer service. I work from home and need my services activated. I don't understand why it will take 48 hours to investigate but the payment was taken. I wouldn't recommend the Clicks app for important payments.
Ongoing complaint since October 2024. Unfortunately, as it happens Vumatel is the only provider in my area. Their customer service and service is no existant. They take their own sweet time to even reply to complaints via their complaints@vumatel.co.za email. If you ever have to choose between them and another provider, please do yourself a favour and do not even consider them. The worst company I've ever had to deal with.
Worst service ever. It's been 9 days without internet and no resolution from Vumatel. They keep on saying they will escalate and follow up but no feedback and no one has been in contact with me since it was ''escalated''. VUMATEL YOU NEED TO SEND SOMEONE OUT ASAP TO REMOVE YOUR INSTALLATION FROM MY PROPERTY. I AM TAKING MY SERVICES TO A PROVIDER THAT CAN PROVIDE THE SERVICE I PAY THEM TO PROVIDE.
This is a Review for Vumatel and Home Connect. The red light on my wifi is flickering since Saturday. I did reboot/reset it but it's still flickering. When I arrived home on Saturday I notice the casing outside the property was broken and the pipe was disconnected from the round part. I logged a call with Home Connect and when the technician came out today he said the inside cable is damaged and would cost R1200 - R1400 to fix, but when I called home connect for the quote the notes on their system says that the drop cable is damaged. I also noticed after the technicians left the box inside the house on the wall was put back upside down. When I checked the box I noticed that the one side was damaged. I asked everyone in the house and no one had knowledge of it. The technicians must have damaged it and put it upside down so that we couldn't notice. I logged a complaint with Vumatel and a very disrespectful agent called me on yesterday. He kept speaking over me, raising his voice and wanted to tell me about faults that occurred when the previous owners owned the property. I emailed HC and their response is I must pay for the damage. Yet, I do not know what the actual damage is and I still didn't receive a quote. As a first time customer this is very bad service. I have paid my wifi on time since moving in and this service is unacceptable. I am currently looking for another service provider.

Poor service from the Cambridge Food Store - Mitchell's Plain - Symphony Walk. I purchased a kettle on 27-mar-2023. When I arrived home from my working night shift my mother had already purchased a kettle that was used at this point. I went to the store today 29-03-2023 at 08:20 am to get a refund or something else in the place of the kettle. I spoke to the manager on duty and from the start he was extremely rude before I could even explain what had happened he cut me off and said hus not going to help me and that the store policy is that not items can be changed or refunded. I asked him to see this policy and he said ''I am telling you now that is the policy"' I asked him where in the store or on the receipt is this policy printed ajd he just kept on saying his telling me now. There is no policy printed in store or on the receipt that refunds or exchanges are not done. I asked him if I can take something else with the money and he said "I'm not going to help you and I'm not going to argue with you about this as I already told you I'm not going to help you''. Mind you I was calm and did not raise my voice I just wanted to know where this policy is printed which the manager could not show me. I have the receipt and the kettle was not even removed from the box. The cashier that assisted me also did not say that the store has a no refund or exchange policy.
