Makro Online orders

So it’s very disappointing that I have to write this review. I placed and immediately paid for an order on 25 March 2026. According to the order tracking system, delivery was scheduled for 1 May 2026. After a week with no updates, I contacted customer service to enquire about the status and whether delivery would take place on a public holiday. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide any clear feedback. Another week passed with no change on the tracking system, so I followed up again. I was informed that a query had been logged on my order and was promised a callback with feedback. Two more weeks went by without any communication, prompting me to call again, only to be told that yet another query would be logged to locate my parcel. On Tuesday, 28 April, I contacted them again and was told that my order should have been delivered two weeks prior. Once again, I was assured that a query would be escalated. Today, I checked the tracking system and noticed the status had changed from “order placed” to “order ready for shipment.” At this point, it is clear that the order has not even been dispatched yet, which means it certainly will not be delivered as originally scheduled. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience with poor communication, lack of accountability, and significant delays.
