I have been with Johann Haasbroek and his amazing team for almost thirty years. As an Optometrist, Johann is extremely well qualified, passionate about new developments, and he has an fantastic, friendly, and encouraging way of dealing with his pasients. He is talented and honest about your options, as well as future prospects regarding your eyes and your vision. I can highly recommend him to anyone.
My cat suddenly became critically ill and I rushed her to Lammermoor vet. Dr Natasha was absolutely amazing. She treated my cat like a baby. Worked gently with her and managed to make an initial diagnosis very quickly. When I was presented with the decision to euthanize my cat, Dr Natasha was very supportive and kind. She has the best interests of the animals in her care at heart, as well as being acutely aware of the financial constraints of the clients. As my cat's illness is of a suspicious origin, she's also investigating further. I will always highly recommend Dr Natasha and her team at Lammermoor Veterinary Clinic.
We needed the original ownership paperwork for 2 of our vehicles. As per their instructions, we made the required payment for the costs involved and sent them the proof of payment. We were told that they are literally waiting for the email to come through. Once they receive it, they will process the documents immediately. We would then receive the couriered (which we paid for) documents within 7 - 10 working days. Upon the end of the waiting period, we enquired about the progress, only to be told that they were still waiting for the POP. After quite a long time on the phone, they undertook to proceed with the processing the documents. We had a buyer for 1 of the cars. Now we have to wait another 7 - 10 working days. The buyer is not keen on having to wait. All they say is that they are sorry for the inconvenience.
Their service is fantastic. When we want to go and buy bread, we contact the bakery the day before and place our order. The staff is amazing and very willing to help. Today I phoned and couldn't get through. A couple of minutes later, they called me back - despite the fact that I didn't leave a message nor my number. I highly recommend them for your grocery needs.

Yesterday my mom was experiencing severe chest pain. Namola reacted within seconds. We belong to the family plan, so they called ER24 to transport her to the nearest government hospital. The Namola lady kept in touch and only signed off when my mom was in hospital. All this for a mere R129.00 per month for 5 members. This is not the first time that they have come to our assistance and each time we received spectacular service. I can highly recommend them.
As far as I am concerned, Dr Marnewick walks on water. He is an exceptionally talented doctor and is devoted to his patients. He spends time with you in order to assess your progress, is genuinely interested in your life and the challenges that you have to overcome. Many times that means that he runs late. BUT, considering the fact that he is one of the best psychiatrists in the country AND he isn't a money chaser, it's worth the wait. I think he walks on water.
We are a very busy Psychiatry practice. Telkom started replacing the copper cables in our area (Alberton) at the beginning of the year. They then delivered new equipment to replace the copper equipment. Unfortunately we don't have signal for Telkom's LTE in the office where we are located. We then opted to cancel with Telkom and port to a new service provider. We packed up Telkom's equipment and installed the new provider's equipment. Now, all that is required from Telkom, is to cancel the migration order and release our numbers for porting. Other service providers do this within 24 hours. Telkom has not done this yet even though this issue has been going on since February. I have called a number of Telkom's employees dealing with these matters. They have sent me from pillar to post. Some don't even answer their phones or the numerous emails sent to them. We are losing work due to patients not being able to reach us.
ANYONE LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL AID - AVOID GOING TO MEDIHELP. THEY DO NOT CATER FOR ANY AGE RELATED TREATMENT. HIP AND KNEE REPLACEMENTS ARE CONSIDERED AS WEAR AND TEAR, AND ONLY IF YOU FALL AND BREAK THE HIP OR KNEE THEY MIGHT CONSIDER REPLACING THEM. THE REASON I WAS GIVEN WAS THAT THE OPERATIONS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE, EVEN THOUGH I WOULD BE PAYING A TOP PREMIUM FOR FULL COMPREHENSIVE COVER. THEY MIGHT BE FINE TO JOIN IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF GETTING OLDER. IF YOU DO, I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.
