Im not happy how the cashiers interact with customers. 1 she couldn't help me pack my items n lastly she was talking while assisting me on the other hand. She left me with a pile of work i had to do everything for my self It was on till 25

I recently spent approximately R7,000 on groceries at Sunshine Supermarket in Westgate, expecting fresh and good-quality products. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. When I got home and opened the bag of potatoes, I discovered that the entire bag was rotten and completely unusable. This is unacceptable, especially for basic grocery items that customers rely on. In addition, the wors I purchased was of very poor quality. It does not taste fresh and shrinks excessively when cooked, which raises serious concerns about the quality of the meat being sold. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is not the first time I have experienced poor product quality from this store. As a loyal customer who spends a significant amount of money there, I expect proper quality control and products that are fit for consumption. I live 20–30 minutes away from the store, and it is unreasonable to expect customers to spend additional time and fuel returning items that should never have been sold in that condition in the first place. I have the affected items and proof of purchase available if required. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the quality control issues at this store. Customers should receive the quality they pay for, especially when spending thousands of rands on groceries.

What can one say - online shopping is supposed to be easy but I have had such a bad experience. I ordered tin dog food on the 8 January 2026 - paid got confirmation. Waiting waiting - no delivery - contact them via email as no telephone numbers work, there online help chat is does not work at all. I received an email Thursday last week to say my delivery is on the way - is the delivery person walking to me cos 4 days later still nothing. Emailed again - no response :-)

This store has ZERO customer service,it’s a cash and carry yet you can’t no one assistance with heavy duty items even the cashiers are always gossiping! I will never shop here again I will go where my money is valued not where it’s like I’m given a favour You should hire the car guards instead atleast they are helpful and friendly towards customers

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a serious incident that occurred at your store involving my father, an aged pensioner and loyal customer of over 15 years. Earlier this year, while shopping for his regular groceries, my father fell victim to a pickpocketing incident in your store, where his personal belongings were ******. We have obtained video footage that clearly shows how his belongings were taken within your store premises. However, when we reported this to the store staff, it was dismissed with the statement that such incidents "happen often." This response is both unacceptable and deeply troubling, considering the store's responsibility to ensure a safe shopping environment for all customers. My father has been a dedicated shopper at your store for many years, but after this traumatic experience and the dismissive attitude received, he no longer feels safe or valued as a customer. We expect a more serious response from your management to address this issue, including a review of your store’s security measures to prevent future incidents like this from occurring.
