Delicious and reasonably priced Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. Mezzes and pitas are sold as takeaway too. Owner is hands-on. Patrick is friendly and bubbling over with enthusiasm. Seating for families of 4 to 6 people. They are halal too. Turkish coffee also available. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I submitted a claim to them about a theft from my home. I comp**** by reporting the matter to the police and submitting a case number. I also provided details of the suspect. However the company keeps on changing the goal posts and asking for new information. Now they want me to run up and down to the police station. They have the details. They are trying everything to not grant my reasonable claim. I very seldom claim. Further I requested a callback and an agent only called back days later. Advice to the public to avoid this company at all costs. They just take your money.
Pleasant for walks or running. Scenic and safe. Multicultural. Accessible to the public.
I bought a demo vehicle for a competitive price. A Hyundai grand i10 1.2l 2023 model. It had a low mileage and was in good condition. I received a reasonable offer for trading in my i20 which had a full service history and in excess of 100 000 km on the clock. They met my request for a higher trade-in value as it had new Michelin tyres on it. There was open discussion and negotiation every step of the way. We did not select the 2024 i10 grand as I was not comfortable with the minor tremble in the 3-stroke engine. There was a delay in getting the spare key. A poor service provider was replaced and the spare key was organised. The sales person was calm and friendly throughout. He displayed a broad knowledge of the vehicle and of possible alternatives. He did not try to pressure me to take a expensive model but worked within my financial constraints. The vehicle has a significantly lower petrol usage than an i20. The gears are much better too. The only point was getting used to the reverse gear which took time to adjust to. All factors considered, in these trying times it would be worth your while to explore your options for a fuel-efficient vehicle as well as one that has a 7-year warranty on essentials. The first service is also free, which is a welcome boost. The grand i10 2023 easy to handle and has a useful warning beep if you reverse too close to an object behind you. The later model has a rear camera. Our own preference was not to go for that feature but some may find it useful. It also can be set to sync with your cellphone for google maps, making your driving safer.
When I purchased a second hand vehicle last month from them they didn't give me a spare key. They had lost it which is a security risk. Now the locksmith made an appointment to see me. Three times he did not pitch. As if I have to wait around for him. Can't even give a proper time for the 4th attempt. Please stay away from this company. Their after sales service is very poor.
I recently upgraded my Telkom mobile account . It has been a nightmare ever since. Initially no account was sent and nothing deducted. Then I started getting threats that I was in arrears. I repeatedly asked them for an account and for them to correct a mistake they made on a contract that they say was reversed and the correct one now implemented. I always get different answers from different operators. Then having said my account is up to date the debt agency deducted R1551 from my account. I was told to phone back on the 13th January to claim a refund. The debt agency now sends an account that I now owe R1800 despite them deducting R1551. My monthly installments are 339. I paid 700 for 2 months that they did not deduct. The agency collection made my debit order of 351 bounce. I paid it. No end in sight of this mess. No one can give me a clue when I will be refunded nor what my next monthly bill is. When all my contracts expire I am definitely moving to a new service provider. The worst company ever.
Vodacom unilaterally increased my fees from 493 to 749. No negotiations, no call just imposed on us. This is more than R250 increase. Meanwhile we are stuck with 3.3% salary increase. Vodacom is parastic and dominating other firms as they all sing the same tune. Perhaps we should lodge with the Competition Tribunal.
