For months now I’ve been overcharged by Eskom even though I’ve sent them countless readings. I have also requested to change to rather to prepaid as to avoid being ****med by Eskom with the charges which it’s been months without any response from them. Every month before even receiving the statement of account my electricity is switched of just so they can charge extra fee to switch it back on. This is ridiculous to treat paying customers and *********. Spoke to different agents who could not help and all they could say it takes months for the change to prepaid yet when they want to switch off my electricity they do not even think twice.
Went to Absa bank Mall of Africa to change the debit date for ABSA Vehicle finance as was advised I needed to contact ABSA Vehicle Finance to make changes. When I called the vehicle finance customer service on 7/16/2025 around 3:30 I spoke to an agent who advised I am not able to change to my desired date as they track the salary date, I explained my concern as I received an email from them that they were not able to debit me for the current month due to them debiting me earlier before my salary cleared in my bank and that it affects me negatively hence would like to change the date and the agent told me this was not possible and if anything I need to send them an email to escalate this, the call was disconnected while still speaking to the agent and they did not bother calling back even though they have my contacts. I’m very upset that they refuse to hear my concerns, allow me to choose a date that works for me. The bank and their customer service is S**t and I’m considering moving to another bank. What kind of bank does not care for their customer needs or the urgency of their concerns.
Had a terrible experience with eDreams on my last trip flight booking to Miami. Booked a flight with them for the 28th March- 6 April 2025 to Miami transiting in Paris GDG and Orly Airport France than Miami. Coming back it was transiting in London than after Paris before arriving in Johannesburg. My issue was before and after booking flights I spoke with their consultants to change my for going to Miami to only have one stop in Paris as so I do not have issues with transit visa as I only had a USA visa and they assured me multiple times that it would not be an issue as a US visa would cover the transit as I will not be leaving airport which on the day of travel at the airport I was made aware is not the case as if you transitioning to two different airports in the Schengen area you need a transit visa as a result I had to rebook a new flight through Air France and they still refuse to refund me even though they consultants gave me multiple wrong info on multiple times and refused to refund or pay me the difference. Worst experience ever with them that cost me so much money, Do Not Boook with them as they are ****mers
The worst airline ever with the worst service. Flight got delayed in Rome to adidas ababa for several hours and when we finally boarded we were stuck again in the plane at night with not even been offered food or drink as we waited. Finally got communication from captain who advised they waiting on papers than later said waiting on the luggage. When we landed at Adidas Ababa we missed our fight to Johannesburg and they did not try make a plan until we had to complain than after was when they booked us on another late fight. When we asked for letters for work and insurance purposes they refused and blamed the delay on Rome and bad weather which is not even true. They did not even try to give us access to their lounge to atlest get food and rest while we wait again for another flight which we hope does not get delayed again.
Horrible service ever at KFC Mall of Africa, went there 3 consecutive days at 7pm and was told there’s no meat I need to get a burger. How can a KFC not have meat they might as well close at 7
Was very disappointed in their food for the first time after going there for years. Ordered their oxtail with mash and spinach. The oxtail was so salty I could not even finish my food. Friendly service though
Outsurance consultant called to quote me on car insurance and was unable to beat my current insurer. I asked for the R500 as advertised but the consultant became rude and dismissive giving me an excuse as to why they cannot payout. I received a payout a little more than two years ago and was advised by one of the consultants that if after two years I receive another quotation and they are unable to still beat my current insurer I can ask for the R500 again as advertised so it’s very misleading for consultants who work for the same company to give different information. False advertising
