If you are looking for a stable, high speed Internet connection, rain is NOT AN OPTION. For the last month I have had download speeds of almost 0. And whenever I contact customer support, I only get a response 2 days later, either saying the router is off and they cannot help me or I need to make sure I'm connected to the closest tower. It is useless. Will be cancelling it.
After 2 and a half months, I am still waiting for my refund that was due to me by 1 October 2018. I cannot get a clear answer from the call centre agents (seeing that they only have internal mails) and that escalating my ref number does not work. It also doesnt help that the agents put the phone down when you ask to speak to a supervisor. I have tried all possible routes now with not response. I have even lodged a complaint with the National Consumer Commission. At this rate the only other route for me to follow, seems to be to take them to the small claims court!
For over a year now, Telkom has caused me so much frustration. It started with a damaged line (10 Oct 2017) and pole and escalated into no service (beginning Jan 2018) , me trying to cancel the non-existent service for 7 months and now a fight to try and get a refund for services not rendered (the invoice says it was due 1 Oct!). I have phoned multiple times, I have submitted paperwork that nobody initially told me I had to submit. I have complained on social media. Everybody in my office knows about the struggle. What more can I do to just end of this chapter of my life? I will never again do business with Telkom. All I want is this refund to be paid out!
Telkom is useless!!!! I send through my cancellation on 23 March 2018 and am still being billed. I am constantly on the phone with Telkom, however nobody seems to be able to finalize the cancellation. The reason for my cancellation is that my line stopped working in Feb 2018 after being damaged in October 2017 already. Telkom refused to do fix the physical line even though we continued logging calls (they just closed these calls saying it is resolved). When the line died We had enough and cancelled the line. The old line was removed, however I am still being billed and no refund is being processed.
I contacted the lodge Friday morning for accommodation for Saturday night- I knew the possibility existed that they might be fully booked. However, apparently they had availability, a proforma invoice would be send to me immediately and I would have to do an EFT to secure accommodation. In the afternoon, when I did not receive the mail, I asked my fianc? to call and confirm as I was in a meeting. When he called, the lodge did not know anything about my query or booking and didn't even have my details?! They were apparently fully booked and couldn't accommodate us. Amazingly enough, I had a missed call from Ascot Lodge Friday evening (about 20:30), which means somebody must have found my details somewhere. <br> When I mailed the lodge to complain about the service (or lack thereof), and how I will not recommend the lodge to anyone- I did not receive an apology or even assurance that this is not the way they do business - I received a sentence: \I very sorry to hear of this but I do wish you all the best for your upcoming wedding". <br> Basically"
I was looking on Hippo to see if my current insurance is still comparable, and decided I was still happy with my current insurance company. Obviously, hippo requires you to fill in your details. Not only have I received 4 spam emails in the last 2 days, this morning I also received a phone call from Tyrell trying to get me to change insurance companies. The more I told him I'm not interested and really do not have the time (I was prepping for a meeting), the ruder he got. He was really mean and borderline abusive! I will never use the hippo website again for fear of them spamming me and rude call centre agents!
