My wife and I went to the Life Grand Cafe in Mall of Africa on Sunday the 14th of October, along with 4 of our friends. We all had a variety of meals. One of my friends had spaghetti ragu and my wife had the penne pomodoro. Both my friend and my wife had sever food poisoning, my wife being 8 months pregnant! I am beyond furious as food poisoning can be extremely dangerous to an unborn baby and mother to be. I will be notifying the department of health and posting this to all social media platforms. This is completely unacceptable and this restaurant needs to be shut down for unhygienic and unsanitary conditions that led to contaminated food.
I called the Edgars customer service call centre on the 17th of September to report that I had a unauthorized charges on my account for airtime and a sms subscription fee. I spoke to Bulelwa, who said they were escalating this to be cancelled and the amount deducted from my balance, they said that I would be contacted within 48 hours once the matter had been resolved. It is now 2 weeks later and I still have not been contacted, plus the amount has not been removed from my account! This is unacceptable and I want this matter escalated immediately, otherwise I will close my account. The reference number I was given was ********** 4000/GO
I have 2 complaints about the Sandton City Totalsports. Firstly I wanted to purchase the official 2018 World Cup Soccer ball, the staff just said they don't have. I had to ask them to check the other branches, to which they then said that they don't have the sku code so they couldn't check on the system. I then said they could call the other branches and they reluctantly said ok. The one staff member called the Mall of Africa branch and after that told me they don't have and was expecting me to just say it's fine. I asked them to check other branches. They then went to speak to what I assume was the manager, who then said again they can't without the sku code. At that point I made a scene and told them that their lack of effort and customer service was shocking. They weren't interested in helping and making a sale of R2,500! Secondly I had been there a couple of weeks ago and I saw the Italy soccer shirt. I told my wife, who wanted to get it as a gift for me. When she called a few days later one of the staff members said that they didn't have it and hadn't gotten it in, which was a lie. My wife then went and purchased it at CrossTrainer. When we were in the Totalsports today lo and behold, the Italy shirt was still there. So that was another R1,400 sale lost! After me complaining to the manager she then said Thank You as I was leaving, which is absolutely the wrong thing to do. No offer to sort it out, just a sarcastic Thank You. I am very unimpressed and will not shop there again!
We went to Ciao Baby Cucina at Monte Casino and asked how long it would take to get a seat. The waitress said that they were full as there were people watching the rugby and others waiting for the show at the Teatro to start. She wouldn't even give us any time frame and had no desire to keep us as customers. While we were standing outside deciding where else to go she then helped other people to a table. Even if the food is great there, I will never go there again due to this shocking service!!!
<p>We went to the Nandos in the Menlyn shopping centre today and ordered a cheese burger and an avo and pickled onion pita. Firstly I stated to the cashier that I didn't want any lettuce and tomato on the pita, yet when the pita came it had lettuce and tomato, so I had to send it back. My wife's burger however had a stale roll and no sauce on it. Not impressed and won't be going back there!</p>
<p>On the 19th of December 2015 my wife and I went to the @Home Little Falls store, where we found a wall unit (the Fossil Landscape media unit) for R13,999. As this was quite a lot of money, we saved up for it. We went back on the 7th of July 2016 to purchase it (we wanted to measure what size TV it would fit), but they didn't have any stock in the shop. We asked a staff member to find out from the wharehouse what the dimensions were and to let us know, as we wanted to buy it. The staff member never got back to us, so we went there again today to ask and they informed us that they had the unit in stock again, however the price was now R16,999 (R3,000 more!). The staff member that we spoke to today refused to give us the unit at the original price, or even give us a better price, despite the fact that it was their staff's incompetents to call us back. So in the end we decided not to buy the unit, as R3,000 more for the same unit a couple of months later is ludicrous!</p>
I recently upgraded my 10GB Telkom contract and was sent a Huawei B315s-936 LTE Router with a new SIM card. The instruction manual with the router is of no use, the claim card does not appear to have been activated. I have sent an email on Telkom's website for someone to contact me but no one has. Very frustrated and upset about this.
I have been informed that a parcel of mine has been sent to the Jhb International Mail Centre, but I cannot get through to the call centre on any of their phone numbers: 27 11 9616006/7/8/9/10/39/40 and 011 961 6200 - But there is no answer, it just says that they are experiencing high volumes and then the call is terminated!<br> <br> The parcel tracking number is ii294959205za - It needs to be sent back to the Bergbron Post Office.<br> <br> Not happy!
